Red and blue lenses too opaque
A little overpriced for a basic headlamp. The red and blue lenses are too opaque and severely limit the lumen output.

Good product
Works very well. My only qualm is that I don't like not having a place to put the extra light filters. It's not that big of deal though because all I use is white and red light. The band is taught, and seems like it will hold up to the field for a while... same with the light housing.

Good head lamp. Hidden lenses
Met expectations. I ordered this head lamp because I wanted a blue lens head lamp. When I received it, originally I thought that I got the wrong order because there was a red lens inside the lamp. The other colors are in the battery case.

It was part of their required gear and she was delighted with it
We ordered this for our granddaughter who is a new cadet at West Point Military Academy. It was part of their required gear and she was delighted with it. So, not having used it myself, we'll assume it's working as needed.

Don’t use the cheap batteries.
The device was good while it worked. Dump the cheap batteries that come with it and put in some good lithium batteries. The batteries that came with it leaked battery acid and the battery retention springs broke off. Won’t turn on even after resoldering the springs back. $40 paperweight.
