Excellent Home Security with CCTV Cameras!I recently purchased a set of four - Tapo CCTV cameras online for home security, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my decision! From installation to performance, everything about these cameras has exceeded my expectations.Easy Installation & Setup:The setup was surprisingly simple, even for someone without much technical experience. The cameras came with clear instructions, and the wireless connectivity made it hassle-free to install them in key areas around my home. The mobile app integration was seamless, allowing me to monitor my home in real-time from anywhere.Crystal Clear Video Quality:The cameras provide high-definition (HD) video clarity, both during the day and at night. The night vision mode works exceptionally well, offering crisp and clear footage even in complete darkness. I have tried this with 2 different setup ( 2 different routers, one with internet and another one without internet)Conclusion -App is excellent, lot of features, alarm sounds is very loud, it perfect security device for someone. Body of camera etc is very good and looks reliable for long term outdoor use, However not tested it under direct sunlight and long term, but they claim its outdoor so it must be work fine under direct sunlight and rough hot weather, and comes with warranty I don't think I need to worry about that.However, just wanted users to know this.If you are using router which has internet connection(for ex- broadband) it works like a charm. App is lite and smooth. Very impressed with app features and user friendly design. Great for first time buyers like me. I was able to setup entire camera within less than 3 mins literally. I thought it would be hassle to setup for first time users but it went through all setup steps within 3mins, and boom! It i was live. However it connect with Wired connection and was unable to detect my wireless connection (requires 2.4g wifi) but for some unknown reason it was not connecting which I'm still working on, I checked all parameters into my wifi router but could not figure out the problem. Still working on it.then I tried 2nd setup, connecting it to router which does not have internet connection but wifi is working and my phone is connected to same router which camera is connected using RJ45 wired connection, but it could not detect the camera at all! I did little research all i could find people saying it will not work on wifi router without internet connection, I'm sitting at home, my phone is connected to wifi router and camera to same router without internet but it will not detect the camera in the app.So overall make sure you have internet connection in your wifi router to see real time image, otherwise it may not work! you cannot use wifi connection to check or add your device even if you are sitting in range within your home.

Absolutely pathetic camera. Keeps breaking down randomly and gets disconnected randomly. Customer care says they dont have any technicians only online help is possible and you have to get a technician from your own end. Awful experience. Do not buy.Video quality is patheticNo features, impossible to insert and take out a memory card. Motion detection is pathetic. Notifications are spam. Compatibility is worse

I would like to cover this review under following points:-1. Firstly, the device can provide streaming quality up to 2K.2. It has external storage port which can take memory card up till 512 GB.3. TP Link Tapo provides regular updates to its app and my observation through last 1 1/2 years is that the app gets more and more convenient and easy to use.4. It does what it says, and you can go for it without flinching your eye.5. It has a free version and a paid version, but in my case, the free version does the job with ample satisfaction.6. There is intrusion alert by AI, detection of faces and detection of movements pertaining to human like movements. There is also a zone alert where you can mark a particular area being covered by the camera in which any movement will be alerted to you. There is also a very convenient option of marking a line and a direction on the line where the moment might take place in the area covered by the camera and I feel this is the most important feature in the camera, because the security of your perimeter is can be conveniently covered by drawing this line and instructing the device to send an alert only when the movement takes place over the line in that particular direction.7. Finally, the best for the last the device is linked to the Wi-Fi router at home and continuously since you live video feed, wherein you can see individual camera features and high-quality video streaming, depending upon the speed and bandwidth of your connection or you can see all the camera feeds in one screen at a time. The best part is any and every intrusion or undesired movement is immediately detected by the camera and sent as a notification to your cell phone where ever you are, it doesn’t matter. The notification consist of a small video clip of the moment to ascertain and identify any undesired movements which you would not like in and around your house or which ever place you want to be safe.Overall, a very satisfactory purchase with long life and value for money

Just ok. Resolution is very low for outdoor. Can't even read my bike's number plate during day time, standing inside my porch, Let alone no of moving vehicles.

Pros :Good Build quality.Easy to install. No need of installation specialist.Excellent reliable App works well on both iPhone & Android.Very good motion detection recording helps to save storage space.Good wide angle lenses which cover more area.Cons:Average image quality.No noticeable difference in Full HD and 3MP resolution settings.No way to change the image quality - bit rate.It looks highly compressed low bit rate recording.Conclusion:If you want a modern Wi-Fi cctv camera with easy to install and ok with average picture quality, this is the best option.If you want a cctv camera which helps to investigate the passing vehicle number plates, an unknown person face crossing the area, then avoid this camera and look for something else.

Yani yüzler anlaşılıyor fakat zoom yapınca elbette biraz fazla bozulmaya başlıyor. Daire kapısı için bence çok doğru bir karar. Gece görüşü gri-beyaz oluyor ve bu da yeterli.Kamera üzerinde aktif olduğuna dair LED var ve bunu isteğe göre açıp kapatabiliyorsunuz. Etant habitué à installé dans le monde pro des combo dlink POE et NAS Synology ,cette petite caméra a tout d'une grande pour un prix bien moins onéreuxLe stockage sur carte micro SD de 128go permet de garder en mémoire quasiment deux semaines de visionnage en continuIci pas besoin d'IP fixe et d'ouverture de port ,tout a été simplifié mais il y a seulement une petite astuce si elle ne vous détecte pas votre réseau wifi ,il faut penser à dissocier le wifi2.4GHZ(utilisé par la caméra) du wifi5GHZ de votre box ou du routeur.Il est possible de régler des zones détection bien précises ,des lignes de franchissement ainsi que des détections d'intrusions de zones .La détection d'obstruction de la caméra est aussi de la partie et suivant et des que quelque chose est détecté elle vous envoie une notification MMS avec vidéo sur smartphone.Mon seul regret est qu'elle ne puisse pas être gérée via une interface web mais seulement via l'application TAPO du constructeur.Quand à la visionner depuis un PC en streaming cela est possible via VLC en protocole rtsp mais cela va demander certaines connaissances en réseaux ...Dernier point ,il n'est pas possible de flouter certaines zones visionnées et l'alarme sonore est extrêmement faible ,personnellement je l'ai désactivée et ai juste laissé l'alarme visuelle (petit flash blanc)En conclusion je suis ravi par cette caméra dont les qualités sont certaines et m'ont plus que surpris tant par sa qualité d'affichage de jour comme de nuit et sa simplicité de mise en œuvre (wifi ou filaire)
