Fury / Monuments Men, the - Set

Good DVD. Played. No Scraches.

Loved both movies both cc. bonus features are very few.

Fury and The Monuments Men are both believable and well paced WW II movies. Both are welcome respites from the super hero stuff that use flash bang production effects to supersede the story line. These are worth seeing multiple times, although for different reasons because the stories are so different. I don't mind not having the Blue Ray versions because my 4K DVD player and OLED TV upscales them to an image that looks and sounds great.

Fury is a masterpiece of grit and horror, following a Sherman tank crew in the waning days of WWII. You can almost smell the grease, dirt, sweat, and blood in the claustrophobic confines of the tank interior.Monuments Men is lighter but the cast is amazing. Clooney, Damon, Murray, Balaban, Goodman, Blanchett and the rest turn in very strong performances. Fun movie with humor and the right amount of tension.

Fury is not for the faint at heart. It's one to be careful around children. A few F-Bombs, pardon the pun. But really it is an intense, really great movie. The movie reaks of awesomeness and it shows the brother bond soldiers form with each other in war.Monuments Men was a good movie. The Nazi's truly did try and steal priceless works of art from occupied countries. This movie kinda brings that to light on truly what the Nazi's were trying to do.

I was originally looking for just a copy of 'The Monuments Men', but found this 2 DVD set for less than the other sellers for just the single film. I received it quickly and was new in the package. Both films were excellent for the WW2 fans!

Was worth it just to get Fury!

Loved Monuments Men!

I bought this dvd for my husband for Christmas, we sat down to watch it only to discover that it was not compatible to the UK. I had no idea that this was even an option, it should have been made clear in the description. I have a very disappointed husband
