*NOUSAKU GUSOKU SERIES Literally Meaning "to prepare sufficiently" GUSOKU is the term in Japanese commonly known to refer to weapons and armor, as well as the Buddhist implements such as when used in "san gusoku(three items)" or "go gusoku(five items)". Light, flower, and scent are the basic three gusoku -- you light a candle, offer flowers, and burn incense. Offering flower vases, candle stands, and incense saucers made using traditional techniques of Takaoka Copper, we hope to provide time to talk to a loved one, express appreciation, and to reflect on yourself. Although traditional Buddhist altar fittings had been used as a set, these products are designed also to be used individually. These are old yet new, designed not for special occasions but for purposes that become as much a part of your daily life as breathing. *for brass products Wipe with a soft cloth after use. The surfaces of colored products are prone to scratching. Do not use hard brushes or metal polishers. *for products with gold leaf Do not soak/place the item in water for many hours, for clear coat and gold leaf may fall away. Also, avoid it from bending.
