Bright, very white, and good adhesive, but runs warm with high current draw.
I bought these for a new motorized awning I installed. It turns out that with the 3M VHB adhesive stirp on the back, they were too thick to slide into the channel of my awning, but that's on me. I removed the VHB and they slid in very nicely. The IP68 encapsulation seems very robust too, and I don't doubt that they would withstand any weather just fine. However, I used 22-gauge wire to connect them, figuring that would be adequate, and fused it for 3 amps. (I'm an electrical engineer, and have built several LED lighting systems in the past.) After a few minutes, the fuse blew, so I started poking around. I cut about 18 inches off the end that was surplus for my rig, and connected that directly to a 12-volt power supply. That little strip drew nearly a full amp at 12.8 volts, and ran very warm to the touch. When trying to diagnose my blown fuse, I discovered that the switch I was using was faulty, causing nearly a dead short across the incoming power. Once that was replaced, the current draw fell to around 3.5 amps - rather high, but within the bounds of reason. That's around 45 watts at the nominal operating voltage of 13.5 volts, and is no doubt why the strip is so bright. It's also probably why some users have reported high temperatures. And make no mistake - the strip is *bright*! I could probably perform surgery under the awning if necessary, and the bright white color temperature (unspecified, but I'd guess around 5000K) makes it almost too brilliant for relaxing in the evenings. I may replace the strip with a warmer white version for that reason, but that's not actually a fault in the strip itself. In summary, the strip appears to be good quality, puts out plenty of bright white light, and uses a fair amount of power doing so.

Easy to install, bright!
Delivered on time. Adhesive stuck really well. Lights powered right up and are bright! Lights up my whole trailer and patio. As for durability, itโs only been on a day so I will update after itโs been up longer. Pictures donโt do it justice.

LED awning light replacement.
Quick shipping. Great price. Easy install. Even though it was my first time. Turned out great. As bright as the original and 1/4 of the cost. Prep the surface with an alcohol wipe down. It helps a lot with adhering. Very happy.

LED blue camper lights
LED camper lights. Cleaned area below awning with alcohol really good, lights went in great, stick very well, for now! Color blue matches our other LED lights perfect. Easy install.

I like the lights but after one month the clear, rubber overcoating is yellowing
I have the blue strand of lights. They are bright and provide a nice ambience. Mine have been in use for one month. All LEDs work but at the ends of the strip, where not protected from UV by the awning, the clear rubber overcoating is already beginning to turn yellow. So far, the yellowing has not affected the color of the light. In the literal sense, installation was easy.... clean off the trailer surface, peel the adhesive, stick on. However, remember, the LEDs require power and you do have to plan that all out. That's where 90% the install time and effort are spent. Some don't seem to realize that. I tapped into a 12V source in my trailer's wiring, mounted a new switch on the wall, installed a covered, waterproof junction on the outside of the trailer, and connected the lights there. Because others have complained that the 3M adhesive strip didn't stick well, I also added mechanical retainers every 2' of LED strip length. So far so good but it's been only one month. I'll be watching the yellowing of the clear rubber overcoating to see how or if it ever worsens sufficiently to affect light output.

Canopy underlying lights for camper
The blue color instead of the bright white that was there originally gives a nice soft glow but allows you to be able to see

Fire hazard
I missed the return window by 4 days unfortunately. Didn't even last a month. Initial installation was a breeze, I was able to install it on a pre-existing channel for my previous lights which lasted 4 years. The channel is protected against rain and sun by my awning. I trimmed the excess as instructed and protected both ends with silicon. I even went as far as soldering the electrical connection and using heat shrink to cover against moisture and rust. However not even 1 month later a large section of the lights are burning out, and I mean BURNING. none of the other LED's are hot to the touch, they are warm but not hot. However all of the burnt out ones, although not producing light, are SCORCHING! To the touch. Look at the pictures and you'll see the clear protective plastic turning black from the heat. I would have kept this product if some lights had gone out. I mean for the price, that would have been fine. But BURNING out to the point where I had to pull my hand away. This is a fire hazard. Since I missed the return window and there's no support page, I'll simply have to buy another brand and spend the weekend taking this apart. What a shame.

Makes a Big Difference
I am restoring a vintage Shasta camper. Just finished the paint and decided to add a bit of flare to it by adding a LED strip along the top. The strip easily attached to the metal awning tube and was flexible enough to completely attach to the round metal. The 3M tape held very well. During the restore I had added a 12v system and switch and already had the wiring ready for this job. Once connected it all lit up on the first try. It really makes a difference on the looks of the camper. At night it really glows. I am very satisfied.

The Tape that comes with these lights to install it is absolutely useless. There is no stick to it whatsoever. The little clamps to install works great. I had to buy 3 M tape. They are easy to connect for power and do look great. How long they'll last is hard to say.

Perfect and easy installation but not extra bright

Lights are super bright. Easy replacement for our burnt out ones in the awning. However we installed them on a clean surface and within 24 hrs they had all completely fallen off. If they stuck better I would have given more stars.
