These connectors are the correct fit for Icom and took solder very well. I’m sure they will work with any major brand of Ham Radios. I’m more than satisfied with the quality and quantity for the price. I do recommend and would definitely order again.

The plans for this project called for a db9 connector between the controller and stepper motor driver. I've never had good luck creating neat, fitted cutouts for db connectors, so I decided to give these a try. They work great! I also used 5-pin versions to connect the arduino in the control box to USB. I was a little worried that cutting a USB cable and soldering this on would cause problems, especially with shielding, but it works great! I'm glad I didn't have to cut a USB-sized hole in the box, or use a panel mount USB connectors (which were big an ugly). I'm surprised I don't see these used more often in arduino projects.

They're actually surprisingly well constructed. I only needed some female connectors, but getting this set was the cheapest for the quantity I needed. They mate perfectly with the male connectors on my machine tool controller, so they must meet the GX16 standard pretty well. Be prepared to deal with some very tiny screws, but that's nothing unexpected. Oh, and some close-spaced solder lugs, which is why the ones used generally have crimp connectors. But, unless you have a crimper, just use a steady hand and a small soldering iron tip. I doubt they're rated for very many connect/disconnect cycles, but not important for my use.

Parts seem to be of of high quality. No noticeable defects. Plug mating is exact and tight. Exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price. I will order more in the future.

They work great for what I need them. Looks nice. A little hard to sorder the pins as they are really close to each other but not their fault, My eyes are not as good as they use to. :)

Ich kenne diese "Luftfahrtstecker" bereits wegen meines Werkstatthobbies und war deswegen neugierig, wie dieses Set sein würde. Der Inhalt ist mit 48 Teilen üppig, die Sortierung der verschiedenen Pins-Versionen ist brauchbar und auch Abdeckkappen liegen bei, das ist eher selten so. Die Qualität ist einwandfrei, die Kontakte bleiben auch bei Belastung kalt und es gibt wegen der Verschraubungen auch keine wackeligen Verbindungen. Die Pins lassen sich gut löten, es werden AWG24-Kabel empfohlen, damit die mögliche Leistung auch erreicht werden kann.
