Truly universal, not perfect but also not expensive
This holster fits just about EVERYTHING semi-auto. I know this is a "medium-frame" size holster, but it actually appears to have been molded for a Glock 20/21 because it will even hold my huge Glock 40 MOS (the biggest Glock model in production), as well as my G26, G19, G30S, M&P40 full-size, SR1911, RIA 1911 .22 TCM (double-stack) ... even my new Ruger Mark IV Hunter, which I poked in there just for giggles (not that I'd ever carry that one for defensive purposes, but still...) I'm not sure what they consider to be a "large-frame," but I'm guessing this might not fit a Hi-Point .45, a Beretta 92FS, or an old Ruger P-series (P89, P90, P95, etc.) either because it has a width greater than the G20/21 or because it has a larger, more rounded trigger guard than the above mentioned models. Even the little G43 will drop in there and is kept in place with reasonable retention, although it does tend to cant severely forward because of the extra room in there.PRO:1. Fits a VERY wide selection of pistols and holds them securely (your belt provides the necessary tension, plus the rubberized backing material adds friction);2. Shape of backing piece allows for an easier draw than others like the Ace Case "universal" IWB holster that cover far too much;3. Very thin, very lightweight;4. Conceals just about everything VERY well - I'm amazed to find that my huge G40 MOS is now actually a valid CCW option;5. VERY comfortable ... well, as comfortable as an IWB can be expected to be ... and only until you start sweating (see below);CON:1. Plastic belt clips might break sometime down the road (can always replace with metal clips or leather loops), PLASTIC rivets holding stuff together (can be replaced with metal rivets/screws);2. Rubber-like backing material is comfortable at first, but if you get even the slightest bit of sweat (and you WILL), it starts to rub and chafe. You'll want to either wear an undershirt or maybe glue some fabric to it to reduce irritation;3. As these types of holsters always are, it's a royal pain to put on and get into position. Once it's there, however, it stays put, and the plastic clips that initially seem flimsy aren't an issue at all.Overall, it's worth the purchase if you're someone like me that has multiple carry pistols of varying sizes/models/brands, and/or you're someone that's new to IWB carry and want to try it out without spending a whole ton of money on different holsters. Try this one first; if you like it at all, then you'll feel more comfortable about spending more money on model-specific holsters from other brands.

Fobus IWB universal holster, medium size.
Have been looking for a IWB holster and thought I would try this one mostly to get used to the feel of having my pistol on now that I have my LTC. Tried this one because it appears like most I have seen and was reasonably priced. The first time I put it on with my gun in it was very good. My S&W SD40 just melted in to my side. The weight was distributed well and it felt fine against the skin. How it will be after extended wear I will just have to see. My Smith fit a little loose until I tightened my belt and then it was just right. Maybe as I get more and more comfortable with concealed carry I will get a precision fit, but maybe not.

Does not work well with FN509's.
This holster does not work well with either of my FN509's. I have a compact and a tactical. Compact has a slightly shorter barrel. Both are pretty much the same. Both guns have supressor height sights. Had problems with holster hooking the front sight because the muzzle sticks out of the bottom of the holster. The second concern is with the magazine release. Magazine release depressed easily enough to cause the magazine to become unlocked. Magazine can fall out as weapon is drawn if you don't realize it. Attempted to contact company by phone and email to see if they had something compatible with the 509's. No response. Decided to try this holster in the meantime.

Great universal holster. Make sure you get the right size for your carry.
Works great with my Canik TP9v2 and other pistols. Its comfortable and retains my carry good. Tested it by running and rolling, carry does not slip out or move. This is meant to be worn with a tight belt for the retention to work (hence why its universal). If your on a short stature side, you may find it a bit uncomfortable because of its size. Overall, great product for the price. It beats out buying multiple holsters (most of the time).
