Dropped it from 3 feet and it survived
I am having Extra-fine nib fountain pen for almost two months. I bought it for writing and it was very smooth and sharp. Around the second week of using this pen I dropped it from height of 3 feet and it landed with its tip on solid ground. I panicked that I broke my new pen. However, after pushing the pen tip on paper for couple of seconds it started to function normally again. It has a very high quality tip. Now it writes more like medium nib lettering pen than extra-fine one but I think it is acceptable considering the hit it took. The pen is noticeably light, plastic material does not feel like something super-fancy, but from usage point of view it is very good. I am not a calligrapher or professional drawer, but I think they will find this pen "fine nib" not "extra-nib". All in all, I am really happy with my purchase and I am looking forward to buy more rOtring products.

Pricey but worth it
This is my favorite sketch pen. Hold on to the cartridge; you can refill it with bottled ink and one of those needle/syringe things. Rotring and Doodlers ink both work with the nib.

Great pen
There's only one thing I don't like and it is that the pen is made of plastic, it's way too light for my liking. Everything else is good

Too good to fast
Best artpen i ever used, at first inking was not good, but then it was perfect, maybe was dust. Be warned, line aint thin, i would say its a 0.5 mm, so lines are bold for really small sktechbboks, but solid pen for sketvhing, i bought two of then, took the risk and it was worth it.

Get the right Ink and it's amazing!
Make sure to use Fountain pen ink and this is one of the best art pens out there. It has become one of my top three drawing instruments and for the price, that is amazing. I prefer this over much more expensive options. It is smooth and reliable. I let it sit a month without use and came back to it working perfect with no drying. That is a great performance for a pen like this. This got my through Inktober and I highly recommend it!

Good Value
I bought one with the extra fine nib and it works great! Every bit the equal of my Lamy Joy—a similar pen.I think there’s always a bit of luck involved with buying a fountain pen online since you can’t try the nib. The one I received flows nicely. I loaded it with Platinum Carbon ink just because it had a good, wet flow and it works as well as my Platinum Carbon Desk (fountain) Pen. No problems with clogging even though this is a (finely ground) pigmented ink. The results may be entirely different with a different nib/feed.I don’t post the cap on these style of pens so that fit isn’t an issue for me.

Quite happy, though the nib could have been finer
It feels nice in hand. I have other general purpose pens, but the shape of this pen is more for the artists (long and tapered). However, the cap does not fit at the back, so you have to hold it in your other hand or keep in somewhere on the desk.Though it's extra-fine, it's more like normal fine (to me). I have other normal fountain pens that are finer. However, I can always roll over and use the other side of the nib and get really fine lines. So overall, it's good because with the same nib I can get really fine, and not so fine lines.I got two cartridges with it, which I usually refill with my favourite black ink using a normal injection (medical) syringe.

Euphoric.
However, I can't give it any lower of a rating, because I am hooked on the euphoria this pen delivers. The hand feel of this pen is so gentle and smooth, like a lover caressing the inside of your hand for the first time, every time. Hell, I even left my wife because she didn't feel the same as this pen. When I touch it, my hair stands on end (despite being bald), and my nipples become like diamonds. Not only that, but with every stroke I make with this pen, I feel the energies of life itself coursing through my blood, body, and brain, almost as if the universe itself was telling what to write or draw and how to do it. The Third Eye I've been told so much about opens when I pick up this pen, and I can see all the secrets of life as I use it.Only gripes I could have for this pen would be that I black out for about three hours (at best) after every use. This pen also leaks quite a bit near the nib/place where you hold it. Every time I use it, and if I didn't hold it *just right*, whenever I put it down, my hands would look like they were stained by the Dark Lord himself's soul. But, hey, what's pleasure without a little bit of pain?Aside from that, I couldn't possibly go lower than three stars. The Germans sure know what they're doing!
