The Mulberry pillowcase was exactly what I expected and hoped for. It is perfect for my skin. Since I started using it, I’ve noticed that I no longer wake up with sleep lines and wrinkles on my face from a rough pillowcase. The silk is incredibly smooth, soft and comfortable. It’s also very easy to care for. I wash it and simply hang it to dry and it continues to look and feel great. I am so pleased with the quality that I will probably order more. In fact my husband’s a little jealous of how soft and luxurious my pillowcase is it truly is everything a soap pillowcase should be I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a comfortable high-quality soap pillowcase. What would a good title for this review be

These pillow cases are comfortable and much more merciful on curly hair than regular pillow cases. They are such a pretty color that I am considering trying to find bedding to match! My only issue is that they kept showing on my order status as not delivered, when they actually had arrived right on time. I tried informing Amazon of this, but so far customer service is an area where AI really lets you down. In this case, I decided to let it be Amazon's problem. I tried to let them know I had received them, but AI didn't care!

LOVE!! I got the eggplant 19 momme queen size pillowcase and I absolutely love it. I have a queen size memory foam pillow with bamboo cover and it fits inside snug as a bug with zero pressure on the seams. You do have to hand wash real silk which can be a pain but worth it to me to have real silk. The momme count is what you want to look for when purchasing a silk pillowcase as higher momme means thicker quality and more softness. To make sure your silk keeps its texture they recommend using vinegar when rinsing or even hair conditioner as it’s delicate enough to use on sensitive material such as this. I haven’t washed mine yet as they can go longer in between washes since it’s such a quality/high end material, silk doesn’t collect dust and dry skin like cotton and other fabrics can which is one of the reasons it’s so pricy and sought after. I bought woolite and white vinegar for washing mine properly when the time comes, I also recently bought a 25 momme case for my 2nd pillow. This is a 19momme count as I mentioned which is great and very soft. I was not that impressed right out of the bag as it didn’t seem any better than my satin pillowcases but I can assure you once you sleep on it there is a very noticeable difference! They do have wrinkles at first and any time it’s washed but they fall out eventually once on the pillow, they do not recommend drying ever!! You are to hang dry always. You can iron but they say cold and always inside out so the silk stays super soft like it should. I’ve seen where people mentioned you can use warm iron but never on the front and it’s fine. Other reviews also stated they washed and dried but with the knowledge I know of silk I would never do this as it will almost certainly guarantee you ruin the silk. Also silk being delicate means the zipper area does not go from end to end, you do have to squeeze your pillow in so it doesn’t put pressure on the zipper and break it. I seen several reviews complaining about this issue but I realized right away and know it’s no defect. Silk is not super strong so it requires some care on the owners part, if you want stronger definitely go with a higher momme count. I love this brand and recommend for sure as well as plan to buy more in the future since they have so many color options and even prints. I will say though most prints are only 16momme which is why I decided against a print even though originally that’s what I wanted. I would do 19momme or higher but I have seen many happy customers with 16 if you gotta have the cute print! Also those on a budget start with satin it’s really nice also and has many of the same benefits. But being a synthetic fiber I would not spend a ton as there are so many quality makers here on amazon and most satin is polyester anyways so I’d rather save or splurge on silk versus spend a ton on satin. Satin is a weave not a fiber so that’s the difference as many don’t realize they are different. Sometimes it even says silky satin but that just means it feels real silky not that it is silk unless it states mulberry silk or 100% silk. I also would never purchase a silk case that does not give the momme count as that’s how you know quality level. Zimasilk is one of the better brands so you can buy knowing it’s a quality item and seller. Ps one last thing I originally bought a different brand at first adubor but I immediately returned as that brand also makes satin and I think someone did a switch out as it was wrong color and very much used as it had spots and the tag was cut out from the inside so I had no way of telling if it was real and I’m assuming not since it was clearly a return and used. So once I received my zimasilk case I checked first thing for any use and then inside for the manufacturer tag which I recommend others do since amazon clearly can’t check their returns properly and they send used items bought as new. Also last thing for real I went with the darker color as you can get spots from sweat and things which looks unappealing and gross to me so I’d rather get a darker color so I’m not washing to much. Hope this helps I’m trying to share my knowledge I’ve gathered from reading all the fine print as well as other reviews as it helps so much to know the deal! I plan to buy many silk cases for gifts as it’s a real game changer especially for us ladies and this is the brand I plan on buying

I bought this pillowcase after accidentally overheating my hair during styling. My hair became much drier, started tangling easily, and just didn’t feel like it used to. While looking for ways to help reduce further damage, one of the recommendations I came across was switching to a real silk pillowcase. The idea made sense to me, so I ordered one the same day. The difference is easy to understand. Cotton creates more friction while you sleep, so your hair rubs against the fabric all night. More friction means more tangles, more frizz, and more mechanical damage over time. Silk is much smoother, allowing hair to glide across the surface instead of catching on it. After sleeping on this pillowcase for a while, I realized I wasn’t enjoying it just because of my hair. I simply love the feeling of sleeping on silk. It’s smooth, gentle, and very comfortable. What I liked: ✔️ 100% Grade 6A Mulberry silk. ✔️ Silk on both sides. ✔️ Hidden zipper keeps the pillow securely inside all night. ✔️ OEKO-TEX certified fabric. ✔️ Beautiful soft pearl-milky color. ✔️ Noticeably less friction on my hair while I sleep. The only thing I would change is the silk weight. This was my first silk pillowcase, so I didn’t really understand what 19 momme meant when I ordered it. The quality is excellent, but now I know I personally prefer a slightly heavier silk. If I place my hand underneath or use my white orthopedic pillow, I can slightly see it through the fabric. That isn’t a complaint about this pillowcase—it’s simply my personal preference. Next time I’ll choose 22 or 25 momme because now I understand the difference. Overall, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. If you’re buying your first silk pillowcase, I’d definitely recommend this one.

Genuinely Obsessed! Two weeks in, I’m a full convert. The moment I took this Pure Mulberry Silk Pillowcase out of the packaging, I could feel the quality. It’s incredibly soft, not that slippery, cheap-satin soft, but a genuinely luxurious, cool-to-the-touch softness that feels amazing the second your face hits it. If you run warm at night, you’ll especially love this. It has a natural cooling quality that makes falling asleep feel effortless. Now for the real results after two weeks of consistent use my hair stays soft, smooth and almost flowy, like I just did a light blowout. The silk doesn’t grip or tug at strands the way cotton does, so I’m losing far less hair overnight and my ends look noticeably healthier. My Skin- sleep creases are basically gone. My skin feels more hydrated in the morning, which I’m attributing to the silk not absorbing my skincare products the way cotton did. Durability- It still looks and feels exactly like it did on day one. Holds its shape perfectly, no pilling, no stretching. If you’ve been on the fence, consider this your sign. It’s one of those small upgrades that quietly improves your whole morning routine. Highly recommend!

Don't get me wrong.. I really like Zimasilk bedding products and thanks to all my prior research I was aware I should always look for 22 Momme and not be swayed by "thread count" because it isn't a indicator when discussing the quality of momme silk products. However... in looking at the "ZIMASILK 100% Mulberry Silk Pillowcase for Hair and Skin Health, Soft and Smooth, Both Sides Premium Grade 6A Silk,600 Thread Count, with Hidden Zipper" I got sucked in my the 600 Thread Count comment (even though I knew better) The description that states " compare with some 21, 22Momme silk pillowcases sold on Amazon, Zima silk pillowcase has same thickness. Both sides of Zima silk pillow case is constructed from 100% upgraded 19 momme Grade 6A mulberry silk" While all that hype sounds good... the product is disappointing. We have several sets of Zimasilk 22 Momme pillow cases. These 600 thread count pillow cases advertised as "Premium Grade 6A Silk,600 Thread Count" are inferior to ZimaSilks 22 Momme products. The 600 thread count cases are thin and light weight... and no where near as soft as the 22 momme pillow cases from Zimasilk. Just for grins I weighed them. As you can see the 19 Momme are lighter (i.e. thinner material / less luxurious ) Do yourself a favor and don't get the 19 Momme products if you can afford the upgrade to the 22 Momme items. Granted they cost a little more but are well worth the extra expense. I found the following informative tips online: Unlike most other fabrics, the quality of silk is not determined by thread count, but rather by a metric called momme (pronounced 'moe-mee'). Momme measures the silk density and weight, and the greater the momme, the higher the quality of the silk and the longer its lifespan. With this in mind, most silk pillowcases range between 19 - 22 momme, and silk sheets rated between 19-25. The higher the density the more durable the material. 25 momme, being heavier, is better suit for sheets. With most experts agreeing 22 momme is the sweet spot for pillow cases for its soft luxurious feel . Last: Beware of any silk sheets or pillowcases where the momme number isn’t specified… there’s a good reason why it’s not.

The best pillowcase I’ve ever used.

It does make my hair less of a mess and softer after a night sleep on it. Easy to maintain as I can just put it into a netting and throw it into the washing machine.

Product was to be a gift however packaging too poor to represent a quality gift.
