Q: Is there any installation instructions for this on an 09 Audi Q7?

No, there wasn't any instruction. But it was a very easy installation, I have a 07 Touraeg, which is similar to the Audi, and with a few videos on line, I completed by myself in under an hour. Good quality product, all hardware included

clean and very sturdy.

The only complaint I have is that they sent the wrong size of bolts. I reused the existing bolts from my car.Other than that, its a great product.

Holes not lined up.

I’m not sure where the seller is getting these hitches but it seems like maybe they are coming out of the quality control reject pile. All the bolt holes to bolt it to my car were lined up except for one. And the holes for the pin were misaligned also. I tried to contact the seller before writing a review and didn’t hear anything back. Luckily I am slightly skilled at metalworking and was able to die grind out the holes and make it work. most stuff on Amazon these days seems to be of this same quality. If you don’t want to have to fix it after you buy it then I would suggest buying elsewhere.
