I used it to add more divisions to my bedroom closet, and it was truly an excellent decision. This ClosetMaid Wire Shelf kit is sturdy, practical, and really helps to make the most of the vertical space that often goes unused. Now I can arrange my folded clothes, storage boxes, and even some accessories without everything looking cluttered. The white finish matches perfectly and gives the closet a more organized and clean appearance. The quality is good, and one thing I really liked is that it can be easily cut down if you need it smaller to fit your space. It holds weight well and feels durable.

I love these shelves because they are sturdy and go up very easily and quickly. I moved into a new house with very high ceilings, but the closets only utilize a fraction of the overhead space. These shelves let me take advantage of the extra space for linens and cleaning supplies without having to invest tons of money or time. I got three of these up in less than half an hour in a utility closet, and that includes gathering tools, laying everything out, and installing the shelves. I have a lot of experience with this sort of thing, but it is not a hard job and could easily be done quickly by a novice homeowner with a drill, a stud finder, and a level. They do not need to be installed in studs, since they come with drywall anchors, but it is always nice to know before you drill a hole larger than it needs to be. The shelves are very sturdy, and I was able to load one of them up with gallon jugs of various cleaning concentrates without sagging. They are deep enough to store several items front to back, and the 3 ft length was perfect for the closets I put them in.

The shelves are fine and look good, but it is NOT a one man job. The mounting hardware for the shelf attachment at the wall is good, too. BUT, the bracket to extends down to the lower wall stinks. The braket is fine, but the PIN that is supposed to attac it to the device in the wall has such a small head that any movement and it comes off and falls down. I had to find a screw that had a head big enough to actually keep that support bracket attached to the wall. Thank goodness for a drill with a screw bit to get it in. It is very inconvenient so plan on finding a could have screws.

I am very happy with this product. All the components were included and the directions were clear and easy to follow. They are sturdy, stable, and hold quite a bit of weight. I purchased two and they really helped enhance my spaces. I would definitely buy these again.
