I loved the concept of this necklace and purposely chose the crescent moon. Crescent – waning moon – represents the Crone and stands for repose, maturity, wisdom, experience, knowledge, understanding, completion, death and rebirth.Although the idea is wonderful the execution is less so. The pendant itself is tarnished and washed out, a different hue to the chain. The chain is shiny and golden whereas the pendant looks like it doesn't even belong to it. It looks clunkier and less refined than the advertised picture. It's just not what I was expecting at all. The price is fairly reasonable but it's not that great when you see just how discoloured the product is.

I ordered the gold pentacle with the moon and stars. It arrives in a little blue cardboard jewelry box containing two small resealable plastic bags, one containing the pendant, and the other the chain. There is also a small cloth drawstring storage bag included.The quality of the pendant is very good, and it is just the right size, not to small, and not ridiculously large either. The chain is quite fine, and just about long enough for me. To be honest it could do with being a couple of inches longer, as I don't have a particularly large neck.It's a very nice piece of alternative pagan jewelry, and well made too. I am hoping the gold colour doesn't wear off, and to that end I will be removing it at night, in the shower, and when I am out exercising.For the money it is good value, and I am sure anybody who buys it, or gets it as a gift will not be disappointed. If it hadn't been for the slightly short chain, I would have given this pendant 5 stars. However, to be fair, I like my pendants to hang fairly low, so perhaps I'm being a bit picky.
