More than just a laundry backpack!
I purchased this for vacation in June to Orlando. We don't fly, so I realized immediately how versatile this can be. For its first use on the way from Texas, this was our "overnight" bag for a family of 5 for first night's hotel stay. Held pj's, change of clothing and all toiletry items. Second use: I don't like to come home with dirty laundry (consider a week in the heat visiting theme parks and you have some really stinky clothes). This held 5 days worth of our dirty laundry for easy transport to the hotel laundry facility. The bag was completely full and heavy at that point, so the backpack straps came in handy. I liked the extra small attached bag for quarters as I came prepared with $20 worth. Be careful with what you put in the front pocket, you can lose things if you aren't careful since it's a large pocket with only one center clasp. Third use: Beach day - held a soft cooler with drinks and picnic stuff in the bottom with towels, more snacks, change of clothes, sunscreens in a ziploc in the front pocket. Fourth use: Boating with the family, makes a great lake day addition for towels, change of clothes, sunscreen, picnic stuff, drinks (we transition to boat cooler once on board). It's bigger than you think and thankfully has a good drawstring under the flap. 4 stars because I think the material is thin not sure how long it will last, but for less than $20, I will buy another if/when - you won't be disappointed with how versatile it is!

One Bag, Two Uses
I love this bag for my laundry, yes, but I own two because I love it for carrying my groceries. I live on the third floor of a building, and I have a bad knee. Using this--and sometimes an insulated bag for cold items in one hand and a canvas bag providing more space in the other--I can make just one trip up the stairs.I reinforce some areas of the bag for groceries by using duct tape and/or sewing, just to be careful. It probably wouldn't hurt to do it with the one for laundry as well, if the bag is going to be packed with clothing when you head down to the washers and dryers.Overall, this is a great bag. I'm planning to buy a third.

It fit all of my laundry detergent and easily could fit a small child or a huge amount ...
I bought this for my freshmen year in college. It fit all of my laundry detergent and easily could fit a small child or a huge amount of laundry, but the shoulder straps wouldn't be able to hold any major load. I tried packing a large portion of my clothes for school in the bag and within seconds the straps started ripping. So my advise to any and everyone is that if you do large loads of laundry and still want this bag, then I'd reinforce the straps honestly (that's what I did and it's been fine).

DRAWSTRING DISASTER
its a very well made bag and can handle at least 20 pounds just fine..HOWEVER the drawstring is a huge pain in the neck when trying to put your folded laundry BACK in the bag...the bag will NOT stay open and basically you need 3 HANDS to do it at a normal pace...it takes FOREVER to maneuver the laundry through the opening all thanks to a stupid drawstring and heavy material. For these reasons I go with 3 stars vs 5.

Good for Light Weight laundry
It's a good quality bag for "light weight laundry". Just don't over fill it because the straps will start to give away if you do. I had to learn the hard way by over stuffing it and now the straps are starting to tear.

Sturdy, comfortable, spacious. So spacious!
This thing is massive and sturdy. Good for camping and laundry of that lazy college student or person who lets their clothes pile. I think it carries about 5 loads. It will carry many loads and the straps are thick and therefore comfortable. The pockets are useful for detergent and such. The little coin purse is cute. It's very spacious but also folds down so it can be compact if you don't have many loads or need to put it away in storage.

Sturdy bag
This is a really sturdy bag! The lining inside helps it keep shape when loading and unloading. I haven't had any problems with the straps, in fact, this is one of the most well-built backpack style laundry bags I've ever owned. The snap closure is really convenient and will last much longer than the velcro closure on some other bags. The attached coin pouch is also really handy and keeps me from misplacing it. Overall, great bag!
