Works well to keep out heat, yet still see outside. You cannot see inside during the day, but can @ night. It’s a pain to install on small window panes.

Great product, easy installation ( only challenge is to lay flat for cutting from the roll as it tends to roll backs, had to put some long pcs of hardwood planks to keep from rolling back and than cut but once cut & you peel backing & wet with soppy water it stays open for installation ) if you follow instructions and YouTube videos. will buy again for more windows for sure. Quite a difference for controlling heat and pretty good privacy definitely.

I just put a second layer of (silver) film on a 26"x42" window, and it seems to have worked just fine. I wanted to see out, but from the outside one layer of film didn't seem enough. Now from the outside (in the day), you can't see a thing even if you're right up against the window. The view from the inside is just a tad darker than with one layer, but you can still totally see out without an issue. If I have problems in the future with the layers peeling away from each other or with bubbles, it's of course easy to remove both layers and put them on again. But so far so good. Great product, actually. Tip: you don't need a lot of soap in your water, just a squirt. I used waaay too much soap for the first layer of film, and it was a total mess.

Got this product on time.I used it on sliding glass doors that face west.I live in Az and the sun on that side of house gets extremely hot in the afternoon.It is relatively easy to apply,the second window was easier than the first,as always.I taped the top of film to top of door to hold it up and sprayed lots of soapy water on window after cleaning window.I positioned film and then sprayed more soapy water on film and squeegeed out the air bubbles.It is not clear but you can see out. It has drastically reduced the heat coming in through the glass,although I still close blinds in afternoon it will do until I can replace door.
