North America Silicone Flexible 3-Piece Measuring Cup Set, 1, 2 and 3 Cup

I LOVE these cups!! I mean...if I lost them, I would replace them the next day...that's how much I like them! I don't think I could get through a major cooking occasion without them!!These are LIQUID measuring cups, not dry. Dry measurement is different. Now, sometimes, it doesn't matter, but for precise baking, you should use the kind you fill and then level (or more ideally, weigh your dry ingredients.) Having said that, many things don't require that precision.I make pancake and waffle batter directly in these and pour right out. The flexibility makes them a dream to pour batter from. And with not having to use another pitcher, I don't have to wash anything else! I have made muffins in the big one, even cake and brownie batter. My little OXO Egg Beater fits right in there, so I mix right in it. One of my favorite things is to use them to add ingredients into my kitchenaid mixer. The area where you pour is narrow. And I don't like using that shield/spout thing, so I put ingredients in this and can squish the cup so everything gets added easily. Since they are malleable, you can easily pour things into narrow containers (like into squirt bottles or cruets.)One of my favorite parts is that they don't have a handle. I am left-handed and almost ALL measuring cups have the U.S. measurements printed on the side where RIGHT-handed people hold, I only see metric. So I have to either set it down backwards (for me) to see the "cups/ounces" or learn to pour with my other hand! I can turn this one anyway I want with no handle!!!The silicone is light and easy on your hands...even when their wet (unlike glass handles which can slip.) I can knock them over or tap a spoon on them and not worry about chips. I do try to use plastic spatulas to scrape, I don't want to scratch the silicone with digging around in it with metal.I find mine are easiest to wash with really HOT water. Let the water rinse most of the stuff, then wash normally. Of course, I stick them in the dishwasher, but I usually need one again before the next wash!

Previously had only two green-colored silicone measuring cups—a one-cup and a two-cup. They’re nice, but just a bit flimsy. To fill them you need to hold the bottom of the cup in the palm of your hand, because holding from the sides will squeeze the cup as it is filled distorting the measurement. These cups are FIRM AND FLEXIBLE, so they can be held like normal measuring cups without distorting the measurement at all. Unlike ordinary plastic or glass measuring cups, they pour like a dream! No spilling at all, because there is no need to tilt the cup to start pouring. You simply need to hold the cup slightly tilted and touching the vessel you’re pouring the liquid into and squeeze, to start the neatest measuring cup pour you’ve ever experienced. Before ordering them, I asked the automated answerer if they would nest. It was unable to offer an answer so I posted the question. Very soon, two very kind Amazon customers who had purchased these answered the question. My sincere thanks to each of them for taking their time to answer the question. Their answers were all I needed to proceed with ordering these wonderful measuring cups. YES, they do nest nicely! With all their wonderful features, such as being clear and very easy to read, firm, flexible, microwave/dishwasher safe and nestable for storage, there is no reason to hesitate to treat yourself to these wonderful measuring cups. These silicone measuring cups have surprised me, and I Love them.Sturdy and flexible, offer a very nice grip, stable weight and balance when filling.One caveat: I purchased these in part, to measure HOT LIQUIDS very regularly. Although they work wonderfully for hot or cold applications, be aware: the silicone is very Hot as well.You will need to be mindful of this. I learn over, and over...the hard way😄Use a Hot Pad to hold these for pouring hot liquids.OXO Good Grips offers silicone measuring cups that feature a 'honeycomb' texture on the outside to help distribute heat, and I find it helps quite a bit.Regardless of which brand you choose, they are both great. Both WILL discolor over time. Either yellow slightly, or will hold some color from say, coffee, which will cause them to discolor sooner.Dishwasher safe for both these, and OXO. They will both emerge with some water spots. OXO, due to its 'honeycomb' texture, holds water, takes longer to dry.Overall, I still prefer these cups, but that is personal preference. Would still buy these again because I like the full design and quality. They will last YEARS, and that is obvious when you start using them.I only need to remember, hot means...It's HOT😄Truly hope this review helps.

It’s hard to find good quality silicone measuring cups, especially ones that have accurate measurements; but these get pretty darn close. The cups are solidly made, stable but still flexible enough to squeeze and pour from, and won’t slip out of your hands. When I tested the measurements on the sides by weight they were within one ounce - each cup came in at one ounce over the marked amount (i.e. to fill the 32 oz cup to the line was 33 oz of water). The cups are frosted, but you can clearly see what’s inside of them. They conveniently stack one inside the other, making storage simple and convenient. I’ve bought these to use for resin work, and the resin that sticks inside can be chipped out after it hardens; however, because the cups are so thick, you aren’t able to turn the cups inside out which would make cleaning a little more easy.

I absolutely love these silicone measuring cups! This set is really great because it has the much-needed sizes. I especially love the flexibility of silicone. I have arthritis in my hands which make it hard to grip. These work great! They work equally as well for liquids and dry ingredients. I love that you can make the pouring spout as narrow as needed making it easy to add liquids or pouring in flour, oats, nuts, and any other dry ingredient. They are great for microwave use, and can be comfortably taken out without a pot holder. The measurements are accurate and easy to ready. They are easy to wash by hand or work great in the dishwasher. I love these so much that I bought them for each of my 3 daughters (who are very impressed).....this old Mom still knows what's great to use in the kitchen!

I purchased my first set of ISI measuring cups before I knew Amazon existed. They look the same today as they did brand new and the numbers are the same dark black as on day 1. I buy them often as shower/wedding gifts because people don't seem to know about them and I always write a note about what I use them for. The little 1 cup melts butter nicely, the 2 cup has many uses. The 4-cup is just the right depth to melt chocolate for dipping pretzel rods. And lots of other things, too. If you melt a lot of this n that, you'll love these measuring cups. Dishwasher doesn't warp them at all. They are my go-to to fill the bottom rack if the top is full. I wish they had lids.

I love them. They’re perfect except for one problem. They stain. They stain with everything that has color to it. Chicken broth. And tomato sauce/marinara sauce? Ugh. The dishwasher doesn’t remove the staining. I would have given them 5+ stars, but…. Since it’s unlikely I’m going to scour them with anything, they’ll just remain a much loved but scruffy looking part of the kitchen.

These silicone measuring cups are wonderful!!! The 2Cup cup is perfect for an emulsion blender. Making salad dressing is such a breeze; I blend it in the measuring cup and squeeze the container to easily transfer to a glass bottle. The 1C cup makes it easy to add liquids to a stand mixer. I love using the 4C cup to pour cupcake and muffin batter into the pans. I can fill the cupcake pan perfectly without any drips, and it's much quicker than using a spoon or a scoop. Also great for filling a waffle maker and making uniform size pancakes. These are so convenient; I don't think I'll ever go back to using a glass measuring cup!HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!! FOR THE PERSON WHO COOKS OR BAKES A LOT. REALLY IS A TIME SAVER!UPDATE: 1/18/2012 I still use these measuring cups all the time!!! They really are a time saver for adding ingredients while using my Kitchen Aid Mixer. I just squeeze the sides and pour flour or liquids into the mixer while it's running and NO mess!!!I was so glad that I owned these when I received a Baby Cakes Whoopie Pie Maker as a gift. I was able to precisely pour the batter into the wells without any dripping. These silicone cups made this process so fast and easy!!!Highly recommend!!! I put them in the dishwasher for clean up and they still look new!!!

These are one of my better buys for the kitchen. They can withstand heat or cold and shocks between the two, are microwave safe, easily handled even when filled with hot liquid, flexible for pouring, and have all the volume markings I need. They fit within one another and take up far less room than a set of three glass or plastic liquid measuring cups would. I use them all the time now.

I can't completely replace my Pyrex measuring cups with these (no handle, so difficult to use with hot liquids), but great for many other measuring purposes. Solid construction. They nest, so take up little space.
