Q: Has anyone had success making clear ice balls with this? trying to prevent the cracking.

Ice balls will not come out clear using this mold. To get truly clear ice balls you need a mold that does “directional freezing”. Directional freezing freezes from the top forcing the air bubbles down out of the ice into a chamber below the ice ball. These freeze from all sides trapping the air within the ice ball.

Q: Are the molds dishwasher safe?

I haven't tried them in the dishwasher. They are pretty easy to wash by hand.

Q: are the tongs available with this product

No there are no tongs that come with the Jumbo ice mold tray.

Q: Are sveres jumbo ice ball trays bpa free?

Please ask Amazon to research this question. I gave this ice ball tray as a Christmas gift. I don’t know if it’s bpa free.
