Great sound quality and hearing protected
These earpieces are terrific for clear sound at an event while still providing hearing protection. They are easily portable and you receive multiple sizes with the order, too small and too large. I tested them out at an IMAX movie this weekend and was very pleased with the sound quality. They provide a metal tube that you can attach to your keychain or purse, or a small plastic container that fits two sets. Please see my photos.

Best concert earplugs I’ve ever used!
These things really work! I’ve spent my teens and early twenties going to loud concerts without ear protection, so I’m no stranger to the ear-ringing and muffled hearing that would occur following a concert. I’ve started noticing mild tinnitus even in my everyday life so I decided to (finally) get some good ear protection to avoid messing up my hearing any worse than I already have — because once you damage your hearing, it’s done. These were one of the top results on Amazon, and for good reason — they work amazingly! The clarity of the music and any sounds coming through the speakers are still very clear and the crowd noise is MUCH quieter. When I took them out post concert there was none of that usual muffled ear-ringing. They’re very comfortable, very discrete, and the little carrying case that comes with them is nice and can easily be clipped onto your keys/bag before shows. Well worth the price in my opinion if it means protecting your hearing while still getting to enjoy live music

MUST HAVE for concerts
I used these at a 3 day rock music festival. At times I was only a few rows from the stage. They were so comfortable that I'd forget I had them in. Music sounded great and I could hear if I was talking directly to someone, but it drowned out the background crowd noise great. No ringing at the end of the day and none of that "muffled" sound after the music stops. They worked great. Definitely recommended!

Comfortable Case and Decent Sound Spectrum Preservation
The protective carrying case on this set is fantastic for keeping them clean on your keys. In terms of performance, they do a great job lowering overall volume without completely muffling the room like cheap foam plugs. There is still a tiny bit of high-end frequency degradation, but the overall sonic spectrum stays clear enough to mix or play live music safely.

Great fit, high quality product.
These have been my go to earplugs for concerts for going on 2 years now since I somehow lost my last pair somewhere in the nyc subway network. These are really comfortable, block out the noise without muffling the sound too much and I generally don’t even notice that they’re in. They stay in place well and I’ve never had issues with them falling out during a show. I also appreciate the design of the storage container with its chain and clip so I can clip them to my keys on trips to shows so I don’t lose these like I did my old set of ear plugs. I would be interested in trying out the other ear peace plugs to see how they compare but overall I have nothing but positive things to say about these ones.

All hype, don’t waste your money
These supposedly let the music through while lowering the volume. They were no better at providing musical clarity than the cheap orange foam plugs. I spent $80 for two sets for me and a friend for a concert. Complete waste of money. All hype.

Game changer. If you spend a lot of time at live shows, you need these
I volunteer at a theater with lots of live music. For years I was using regular earplugs and often ended up taking them out and risking my hearing because the music would sound horribly muffled and distorted with them in. These earplugs are GAME CHANGERS! They lower the sound without distortion! It’s quite impressive that such a simple filter can do this. I’m not sure why some reviews say these don’t work because it’s night and day difference. Perhaps they are not inserting them correctly in the ear. I often pull one out mid-show just to remind myself how excruciatingly loud the show is without them. I honestly can more easily understand dialog and lyrics with them in as well. Great find! I’m getting these as gifts for others.

Poor case design, flimsy, hard to grab tab for removal
These are ok. The case is difficult to use in real world concert experiences while standing in a crowd maybe holding a drink because there are so many threads in the screwed in case that it takes a while to open, then you have to hold the top part separately while you fish out the ear plugs, put them in, then screw the case back together. I suppose if you are sitting in a box with a table at the Hollywood Bowl watching KCRW presents Pink Martini while drinking Aperol spritzes these are fine, but then again, why do you need ear protection for that? For Tomb Mold at St. Vitus, where you really need protection, not your best option. Also the little tab that is designed to help you grab the earplugs to remove them from your ears is small, thin, and difficult to grasp. I’ve tried a ton of different brands of ear protection and find Alpine to be the easiest to use all around in the kind of show conditions I encounter, beer in hand, because it is a clamshell case, and the filter is integrated into a longer, solid stem that is easy to hold for insertion and removal. If you are drawn to this kind of design however because you feel safer with having a silicon tab, Eargasm are better imo, because the tabs are longer. Sound quality of all the major brands is about equal as far as I’m concerned, same with fit, they all work fine for me especially after they get a bit broken in. These are a definitely just back ups in case I lose a set of Alpines. I do appreciate that these come with an extra plug, located in the bottom of the case. That’s worth an extra star, and I wish other brands would do it. Otherwise I’d recommend they spend some of their IG advertising budget and NPR paid partnership $$ on R & D.

Great for live music and loud bars
I bought the pro version for gigs/concerts/loud bars and am thoroughly impressed! For anyone who gets fatigued by sound at busy pubs/bars then these are for you as well. You can still easily hold a conversation with those immediately around you and still hear everything. They're also very discreet when in yours ears. Comfort wise they're good too. I forget I have them in. Mine came with 3 standard and 3 small sized earplugs as well as a metal screw cap carry case that can be attached to keys. I imagine the standard size would fit the majority of people. I've always had a hard time finding earbuds for music that fit me but had no issue with these. Once they're in, they're in. Getting them out is easy as well. They have a small pull tab for removal. In summary, I am very impressed. Loud music is not dulled, you can still hear highs/mids/lows and if anything, it's actually improved when wearing these earplugs. It's difficult to explain - it's as if the loudness is gone but the power is still there. You know how loud music or sounds can make you wince, or even make your inner ear start aching/tingling? These earplugs remove that, and yet you still feel the thump from speakers and can hear everything in the song. It removes the fatigue and that's why I love them. Conversation with those in your close vicinity is still clear, albeit more quiet, and the comfort is great. The description I gave above about loud music is the same for loud environments. People shouting over each other at a busy bar gets lost in the background and doesn't bleed into the conversation you're having with friends.

Very good volume reduction, comfortable at a good price
First of all, I bought the Music Pro in early 2024. 20-db attenuation fileter (Pro has just one set of filters). It came with two sets of ear plugs (regular and small size) and each set had three plugs. So six plugs and three filers overall (they can be taken out and put in other ear plugs). So that's great off the top that they give you an extra one for each size as a spare; though if you lose one you're still in business. Also, buying two sets actually give you six earplugs if you're a couple with a kid, or a parent with two kids (like me). But how do they feel and sound? They insert easily and fit comfortably. I'm a 200-lb male and used the big ones and they were good. I went to an industrial club night that is very loud and hurts my ears without plugs and they did a fine job. From about 30 meters from the stage the volume was comfortable but still loud enough to feel the music. The attenuation was not 100% perfect but very good, meaning it didn't sound like an album at reduced volume but it was nowhere near as muffled as regular foam plugs; I could hear the different instruments and vocals fairly cleanly. it's a huge improvement over foam plugs. The people who say it sounds the same as foam plugs, not for me, not by a long shot. When I moved up to the stage to have the PA just a few feet away, it was louder but not painful, and I'm sensitive to volume. As I have tinnitus, it's hard to tell if damage (ringing) was done but my ears were not uncomfortable and I always have ringing in my ears. I think for concerts the 20-db filters would be great. If you go to super-loud clubs and dance right by the PA you may be good with the 20-db filter but if you're super sensitive you may want to do to the Moto version (24-db attenuation and, apparently, the same filter technology; also, apparently, attenuation is NOT linear so the extra 4-db attenuation is NOT simply 20% more than the regular 20-db filters; look into this online). I'm a 53-three-year old guy who destroyed his ears in his teens and early 20s playing guitar in bands and then dancing in goth-industrial clubs for decades. So I know of what I speak. I recently paid $330 (Can) for custom plugs but the left ear was not a snug fit and after returning it for re-sizing it was still loose. So I won't use them but will use my Earpeace Pro plugs that cost $50 (Can). One more thing: When I met friends at the club, I could — surprisingly — hear the conversation. With foam plugs everything is really bad when I talk to people and at times, indecipherable. Not with these. That's great for socializing. Otherwise I would have to nod my head and do the Bill Burr thing: offer vague responses (what are you gonna do, etc.) to stuff people were saying because I couldn't understand them. :) So, good value and essential for those who play in bands, go to concerts, or dance at clubs. Regardless of what you do USE SOME KIND OF EAR PROTECTION; ONCE THE DAMAGE IS DONE IT'S FOREVER. Trust me. Even if you don't buy Earpeace, buy the competition, use foam plugs — use anything but don't go to high-volume events and not use ear protection. The ringing in my ears NEVER GOES AWAY. I have to sleep with a noise machine because of it. Parents, buy this for your kids as a gift. It's a small price to pay for a lifetime of hearing. Rant over. And no, I'm not affiliated with this company. Just protect your ears, people.
