Can you explain what you mean by letters on the back?

We do 1,000 piece puzzles. The puzzle is divided into 8 sections. Each section has a letter assigned to it (A through H). Matching the letters on the back assures the proper pieces are attached to each other. We start off dividing all the pieces up by letter while picking out the edges. Then we pick one section each to work on. We also purchased and love the Large puzzle board with the 4 drawers.

Are the pieces super tiny or regular size?
