Muzzy Trocar Crossbow Archery Arrow Broadhead 100 or 125 Grain - 3 Pack

I used this the weekend after I received the heads. The animal was 35 yds and it did a pass though on the animal. Kill was clean and fast. Accuracy seems good. Sound of flight is quiet. Blades came sharp! Blades were still sharp after passing through, however it didn't hit any bones. This broadhead works great with my right helical Blazer fletching, since the broadhead is also right helical. It's another great product from Muzzy. I would definitely buy again. *UPDATE* So far all three of my heads hit their mark and the heads continue to fly well. Used this head for a 65 yd shot and placed it right where it needed to. I noticed the review comparing this to the NAP Killzone. Comparing a fixed blade head with a mechanical is going to be an unfair match up if your bow isn't broadhead tuned. My bow is tuned to shoot mechanical and fixed blades and both hit the same. I suspect the noise from the poster's bow is coming from the fletching trying to correct itself, due to no fine tuning, and not the head. Again this head is a great design from Muzzy, and since I'm out of heads, I'm buying again.

Went from Muzzy 5 years ago and got caught up in the mechanical craze. Mechanical broad heads offer advantages such as amazing flight and larger diameter cuts, but they simply don't add up to a true fixed blade and what it can do. I always wanted to return back to muzzy but got used to the great flight of the mechanical so I stuck with them, until I had one fail to open on a doe last season; it actually bent the ferrule when it hit and bounced off. After that I started looking at and researching on these Trocars. I used them on a doe at the end of last year and have taken 5 deer with them this season. The accuracy is the same as my field points up to 50 yards and the cut, penetration and blood trail are great. As long as Muzzy makes these I will use them. I'm not the type to leave feedback, but I did read all of the reviews on the Trocars before I made my first purchase so I thought I would put my 2 cents in for some one that was researching these like I was. My advice would be to by a pack and try them on the range. I don't think you will be disappointed.

So far these broadheads have lived up to my expectations. For the most part they fly just like my field points. Every once in a while I'll have a shot that's a little off. Still better than my other broadheads! They seem to be pretty solid although when they arrived most of the blades were a little loose and they do not come with an allen wrench so I had to turn to eBay to find this microscopic allen wrench. Well it turns out when you buy the replacement blades you get a allen wrench. I found that out after taking a shot at a antelope and having all the blades get chewed up by rocks. No biggy it happens. Well replacement blades are only a few dollars less than brand new broadheads and blades were out of stock. So now I have 5 good broadheads and one to practice with. Pros: Very sturdy design Fly fairly true 3 new broadheads cost a little more than 3 sets of blades Cons: No allen wrench included, blades were loose Replacement blades are quite expensive, nearly as much as new broadheads.

Purchased two packs of these heads and used a couple for practice, tuned easily and first doe of the season went down under a minute with an easy pass through right through the ribs. Well worth the cost! Only complaint is the allen screws on some are too tight for me to remove them without stripping for blade replacement and sharpening making this a one shot broadhead. I would consider upgrading this review to 5 stars if the manufacturer provides a solution.

First off. I'm extremely anal when it comes to my gear. After months and months of research, I found this broadhead to be the one! I bought one pack and used the first broadhead for practice. It flew identical to my field point, which is exactly what I was seeking. The other 2 went on my arrows for hunting the next day. Needless to say, it did the job and I'm sold. 14 yards away and there was my buck. My first shot was subpar on my part.... I hit the right shoulder and it came out the left lung. The deer ran 20 yards and looked around.. I thought I missed so I drew and flung another. Hitting the liver and right lung. I had barely any blood trail from the first shot which was my fault as I hit majority of bone and the deer ran like a bat out of hell. the second shot was a different story. Best trail I had to date; a 50 yard crime scene. The pic included is one of many. I had zero trouble recovering. Both broadheads are still sharp to the touch and look new. I will be testing them out at home then resharpen. Very happy with my purchase.

I waited until I was able to take a deer with this broadhead to write a review and it performed exactly as I needed it to. I was able to take a buck with my crossbow at 55 yards quartering to me and I got a full pass through even after hitting the scapula. The picture attached is the head after being rinsed off the blades are still sharp and not bent and the point is still ready to hunt even after hitting hard bone. I am 100% sold on these and they will be in my quiver from now on.

Very sharp. Went right through the deer & into the ground. Did what it was supposed to do.

I like the damage the broadheads do, nothing escapes even if the shot isn’t great, killed lots of elk over the years with these broadheads, highly recommend these
