AS good as advertised. Flawless working. Enhances all of my photos.
It works as advertised. I was lucky got the 26A battery [larger than 26] in the package. Everything fits. The bounce adapter works well and i usually leave it on all the time. I am used to TTL flashes. This one works as well as the Brand ones i have for other cameras. Have not tried the wireless function. The different accessories fit easily. Adjusting flash output is easy. Switching different modes is easy. At lower power setting painting with light [off camera] is easy with long exposure. [Not including photos as it is of family].I tried using the MODELING LIGHT as a video light [that is why i did not get the VX1 model] and it worked well as the intensity can be adjusted. I aimed for just making it light enough to record so got low light effect also. Since the light points ahead I was able to quickly take a flash bounced photo without interrupting the low light video.Mostly take baby & people photos. If i decide to go for a second flash I will probably buy another one of these and link them wirelessly. It has a good solid build. Locks on the camera hotshoe. Flash charger works well. I have not recharged it this year and the battery seems to have lot of power still.Definitely worth buying.

Perfect for my camera
This flash is definitely expensive but turned out to be an amazing all-around work-horse flash. I am team sony and it was important I upgrade and get a flash that can read the settings on my camera. This flash does. It is made of plastic and feels a bit cheap but what's inside it makes the flash worth it. I love the fact it has a battery and can act as a transmitter and receiver. Also, I am a magmod user and bought a few diffusers from that company to put on top of the flash. The flash becomes loose under the weight of the diffuser. Be aware of that (see pics attached).Overall, this is an amazing flash and is a match for it's price. I am really happy I upgraded and already put it through intensive tests which the flash passed with flying colors.

Many upgrades from the previous version!!! Can't go wrong with this speedlight!!!
As a freelance photographer, I wear many hats that usually test my equipment to the max. This Godox V860III has met my expectations.During evening parties, the front-facing modeling light helped a ton. Able to dial the intensity of the modeling lamp aid throughout the night. I used to feel uncomfortable with my V860II on the hotshoe but not anymore. This quick release lock gives me the reassurance that it's locked onto the camera safely when shooting. This speedlight also works well with my other Godox flashes. With the 2.4Ghz wireless tech, I can still trigger them all without lag. This speedlight is capable of multiple tasks. Switching modes on the fly like Manual, TTL and multi-flash makes it so versatile. This battery lasts longer than the previous one for sure. I can definitely recall shooting half to quarter power for 600-750 shots. This flash doesn't leave the camera now. It was well worth the purchase!!!

Perfect for a full-time photographer
I had a few cheaper flashes that I've been using for years (about $40 per). Those got the job done but once I upgraded to the sony A1 camera with electronic shutter I needed an updated flash. Those cheap flashes would only work with a mechanical shutter and not with the electronic one.At first V860II caught my attention but then I noticed the new version came out. I bought this flash because newer is always better, right? LOLAnywho, I already used this flash at 5 photoshoots and couldn't be happier. It is carrying a hefty price tag but in return I am getting a reliable flash offering:1) rechargable battery instead of wasting 4 AA batteries2) working ability with the electronic shutter3) the ability to be a receiving and transmitting flashOverall, professional, reliable and versatile flash for someone who takes photography more than a hobby.

UPDATE - READ THIS BEFORE BUYING - defective product - Hotshoe comes loose very quick
Update on below - after receiving a replacement unit that also had a loose hotshot mount even before using it I was told by the seller that they are aware of this and that GODOX are making updates to their design. So basically they are continuing to sell this unit even though they know there is a major design flaw and that the unit will likely become unusable. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE FLASHES.Had to return the unit after using just twice. The hotshot mount came loose and the flash started to wobble on the camera. I would not expect this to happen so quickly, if at all. I have many canon flash units and have used them for years with no issues like this. I've asked the seller to advise if they have received other such feedback and had other units returned. I do see other comments / reviews like this. I have a replacement unit coming but think I may return it and get a refund and spend the extra for a Sony flash....I guess you get what you pay for in terms of quality. It is a shame as the flash functioned well whilst it was in use, good results and fast, just worried that it will be useless after a couple of uses again.

Great flash, but HORRIBLE hotshoe
I love this flash, so much so that I have bought 4, out of the four, 3 of them have a hotshoe that broke off in the middle of a wedding. Thankfully I have backups but multiple times it’s left me in what could have a been a sticky situation. I’d love to recommend this flash as it performs wonderfully for a great price. But unfortunately I can’t trust it for big important jobs like weddings which is a must.

Can't beat these bad boys!
Godox always has unbelievable value for what you get! They function exactly as you'd expect from a godox product. Super reliable, extremely well built and easy to use, even if you're new to flash photography. The light quality is perfect for newcomers or experienced shooters, providing you take the time to learn the ins and outs of the speed light. As a studio photographer, I don't need this often as I use much higher power lights, but keep this in my camera bag for those once in a while situations.

Nice Flash, Great recharge time
Lots of power and a great battery. Great for multiple flash usage, like focus stacking for example.Appears to be pretty well made. Seems solid. The head rotates 360 degrees, and tilts back too which is nice. I don't think I'll ever go back to flashes powered by AA batteries now that I've tried one of these. I think I'll order a trigger for my Nikon. I've owned a few flashes over the years, including Olympus and Metz, and this appears at least as well built as them.I'm pretty sure this flash can be used remotely via RF, with fully dedicated functionality, with any camera brand for which Godox makes a trigger. I also think it can be fired optically in manual use, if you set things up correctly, so a Godox trigger is not necessary for all off-camera work. As a command unit, it works with Olympus and Panasonic. A lot of people use these with a system of multiple flashes. On the down side, it's not cheap; nor is a battery if you want a second oem battery. I know that Godox also makes a small one like this, with a GN or 36, which also has the same type of battery, and is cheaper. I'm not sure about the recharge time on that one, but I'm pretty happy with this one.
