I have high blood pressure and this is good for checking it regularly. Easy to use and easy to read.

This has easy set up, use and clarity as to what is a normal blood pressure and what is "elevated". I am pleasantly surprised because it didn't cost as much as another well-known brand that I've used for 10 years. Also, it seems to be less "fussy" about position of cuff and more direct concerning how to use the product. I don't know how long it will last but if/when it needs replacing, I will reorder it.

I sure like this blood pressure cuff for monitoring my blood pressure on a daily basis. Easy to use and obtain readings. A little uncertain about long-reliability though. I’m on my second unit after only 3 months as the first one failed operate. Was able to get a replacement unit from the company which I really appreciate it so I’m still using it. Hopefully the replacement unit will last considerably longer than the first one did.

This is very inaccurate. I ordered one as I need to check my blood pressure every couple of hours and this one was easier to carry. However, its' inaccuracy ended up my spending a night in the hospital after an ambulance ride. I was having a wobbly spell and tested my blook pressure to see if I needed more medication. The tester said I was right in range. I ended up fainting and knocking myself out. Taken to the hospital, the ER techs noted my blood pressure was way out of speck. I said I had just tested it before I blacked out and it was fine. The ER tested my BP and their reading matched that taken in the ambulance. They compared readings between their 2 and my wrist tester, to discover my "new" tester read anywhere from 10 inches of mercury low to 50 inches high, along with an occasional reading within 5 or so inches of actual. I compared it with my two home testers after a night in the hospital and it never agreed. Amazon was pretty reluctant to believe me and declined any help for my hospital and Er costs. So I returned it and they probably sold it to somebody else.

Edit: over a year later, it’s still works amazing. I now have experience with other cuffs and I find this one preferable because it’s easy enough to read that I can see it from about 10 feet away when I’m checking someone else’s pressure. I liked this one because I’ve been through 1000’s of AAA batteries with the one I had. It’s important to have cuff at heart level - that’s why a arm cuff is where it is. This offers an elegant simplicity and ease of use. It actually talks you through the process telling you where to hold wrist - reads the pressure after taken- and let’s you know if normal or high/low. The readout is large and easy to see from a distance. For price/ ease of use from child to blind person/ rechargeable I think this is one of the best I’ve seen. Weather you chose this or another brand : It’s important to take blood pressure AFTER sitting for 5-10 min & remember one reading isn’t as important as knowing an average over time. If you take Blood Pressure meds you should consider having your own cuff a priority- if you’re super healthy- great - this let’s you check. I see many athletes with pressure issues. If you don’t check you don’t know. A pressure cuff is great gift Idea.
