Is this unit easy to use?

My 7 yr received this for Christmas and put it together with no help from either of us. I would say yes its easy to put together but it does depend on the child and their age.

I'm so confused. i have a 10 year old that plays with the small legos (star wars). is this the same size as those or are they junior sized?

These are normal-sized legos. They're called junior because the set is easier to put together. Duplos are the large lego blocks for younger children.
