Lishinu Retractable Hands Free Dog Leash (Blue)

Great while it was working. The return policy is 30 days, well, the retractable wheel (which was supposed to be heavy duty) lost its strength and became weak, now it doesn't retract- or it is iffy-at best. This leaving a slack on the line and making it so unreliable when you need to pull your dog back with the automatic lock. I have a 35 lb. mellow walker. This should not have happened after only having it for 41 days. Was it a defective piece of equipment? I don't know. But paying $43 for a leash, I really hoped it would have lasted much longer than this. Good thing Amazon has such great customer service and helped me out. I am *considering* getting another one, just in case there may have been a defect. But I don't know if I should. I wish someone from the company/manufacturer would convince that I should try it again..,,

I have been daily walking my own dogs for many, many years and own a multitude of leash types trying to optimize both theirs and my own comfort and safety. I wish the Lishinu retractable hands free dog leash would have been available for most of those earlier walks and outings. It has been extremely comfortable for both my 20 lb. puppy and me and it is certainly my favorite leash for walks on sidewalks or trails, in stores, and for training, especially during socialization with other dogs or people because of the superior control I have when sporting the leash on my arm. If you have a really large heavy dog that has a tendency to unexpectantly and strongly pull, remember this is connected to your wrist so you might consider a whole body – waist supported leash instead. Others constantly ask me about this leash because not only is it extremely functional, but it is simply cool to wear as well as being color coordinated so if you have a smaller or chilled larger dog, I cannot more highly recommend a product well worth the added expense of a top quality item.

I liked this so well, I bought 2 so I can walk 3 dogs, 1 of them I put 2 dogs on and 1 on the other. I also bought 2 more and sent to family. When I'm walking my dogs I am on call and frequently have to take and make calls, this frees up both hands and I don't have to worry about then suddenly darting into traffic, because a sudden movement is stopped automatically. I can to the vet and free up both hands to write and pay etc.

It is the best hands free leash I have found. Easy to put on wrist and attach pet. I wish there was a way to lock leash, similar to what you can do with a flexi lead.

I am really liking this leash. I use it on my one Chihuahua (11 lbs.) that loves to pull. He can't pull with this one. It's nice being able to walk both dogs without worrying about getting yanked on or worrying about dropping one of the leads. I would not recommend using this leash for a dog much bigger than Smudge. The two downsides I have is that there is no place to attach a poop bag holder and that you can't shorten the length of the leash the way you can with a regular retractable leash. Other than that, it's great especially when I'm walking two dogs especially at night time when I'm also carrying a flashlight.I definitely do not recommend this leash for people who have no clue how to correctly use retractable leashes or for those who have dogs that do not know how to properly walk on a leash. You do need to be aware of your surroundings so that you can foresee any problems that might arise like another dog or a car or bike rider, etc."I've received this product in exchange for an unbiased review of the product"

I have a 14lb active dog. This Retractable Hands Free Dog Leash is great. When walking our dog with a regular retractable leash it is easy to get distracted and when he takes off, the leash comes out of my hands. The Lishinu being attached to your wrist is a no brainer for me, and then to be able to pull your pet back and then hold on to the leash loop when needed is great.* I've received this product in exchange for an unbiased review of the product.

I purchased two for both of my dogs and they worked well for about a month until they stopped retracting properly. I was really pumped about this product since I run with my dogs about 4-5 times a week but ended up getting disappointed (they're pretty pricey too which also sucks).
