Perfect for what we need
I bought this knife for my wife. We're nowhere near at home chefs. Both work full time jobs (opposite shifts) and have a baby at home so we need something of good value for our money but still sharp and gets the job done. That's this knife. My wife opened it up last night, cleaned it and went to cut tomatoes to make a caprese pizza. This knife cut through the tomatoes with ease. I normally hate cutting tomatoes because with a duller knife, you just smash them. This knife made the job easy and most importantly, a happy wife. We're easy on our things so we won't be doing hardcore work with it at the risk of it breaking in half (like other reviews on here)Perfect knife for us!

A Cut Above
Very impressive knife! I like the way it looks, feels in my hand and its level of sharpness. Will definitely be purchasing other knives in this series !

Best blade in the kitchen
I really like the blade. It is thinner than most. Which makes it perfect for slicing very thin slices. Be careful not to try cutting through bone. It is a wonderful slicing knife. But not for bone. Bone will probably ruin your edge. The handle is very well made and comfortable to use. You will thank yourself for buying one.

Best Iโve found in its price range!
At this price point it comes close to 5 stars. None of that fake Damascus etching or silly hammer dent fake forge finish. Scalpel sharp and nice heft and balance. Really shines on tough skinned vegetables! The bolster was a little sharp, an easy fix with some fine sandpaper. I would purchase again. It is now my go to for 90% of my meal preparation. Excellent edge retention, if you use as intended, but you need to know traditional sharpening protocols to maintain a Nakiri; otherwise stick with a Euro-style Chefโs knife or Chinese cleaver.

Definitely recommend this knife.
I have the parking knife and loved it. So I decided to try out their nakiri knife and absolutely love it. Nice sharp blade and fits well in my hand. Definitely recommend it.

Best knife ever
I've bought this knife over a year ago and I still haven't had to sharpen it and this is my go to knife for nearly everything! I will definitely stick with this brand.

Great Knife
I love this knife. It was reasonably priced and it's very sharp. What a difference it makes, especially when cutting soft veggies and fruit like tomatoes. No more squished fruit and I can make nice thin slices.

My wife's dream knife
The Nakiri knife was something my wife had been wanting for a couple years. She prepares food for others, primarily a lot of vegetables. Nakiri translates from the Japanese to "leaf cutter", which describes the job this blade was designed for. This knife is designed especially for cutting and prepping vegetables. It makes a clean cut without crushing the produce. The blade is thin and straight, making the task easier. If you prepare a lot of vegetables in your kitchen, try a Nakiri knife. Save the chef's knife for other jobs.
