Crosman C3622S .22-Caliber PCP Air Rifle

Fun air rifle. Shoot it as is or upgrade to your heart's content. Accurate enough for me with Crosman Premier pellets. Hand pump is easy enough to operate. You only need to go to 2000psi. Maybe 20 easy pumps to top it off. Test show 1900psi is better. Confirmed in my use. First few shots are off a little when pumped up to 2000psi. Settles down nicely for next 20 or so. Power is more than enough for stuff. Almost impossible to fit a LDC because the fill port is right at the end of the barrel. I have left it sitting for months at a time and it stays filled. No gauge to confirm but sounds the same as when I last tried it. I have a 3000psi Diana and it takes A LOT for work to get from 2000 to 3000psi. Enjoy the light workout and use a hand pump on this one. I get fewer good shots from the Diana than I do with the Crosman even though it has more air to work with. The steel breech seems to be out of stock everywhere. I borrowed one from my CO2 pistol and it went on nicely. The cheap, overseas aluminum breech was a piece of junk and didn't work at all. Save your money and wait for the proper Crosman steel breech to come back. I can't imagine a better introduction to the PCP world. You can spend a lot more money and not get much more performance.

For the price... this is amazing. Take your time, follow directions, and i runs fantastic out of the box. It is lighter than I imagined, and a bit more compact, but that is great. Just remember the cost when you compare it. For actual use, it runs the Crosman 14.3 domed perfectly. I'd say 2moa at 50yards and I am sure after a bit of break in and cleaning it can do better, then again with open sights and my old eyes I may not be able to haha. Super happy with this budget set of starter kit.

I read a review on here that said it worked for less than ten shots then broke, but I figured they just had bad luck. Mine worked for exactly three shots and then wouldn't hold any pressure. I have owned these before and they're great. This one was not.

This was my first PCP, and I have been very happy with it so far. It's worth mentioning that I own 2 Crosman 362 models, a regular synthetic stock, and a walnut stock anniversary edition. I love the compact rifle size, and light weight, which this 3622 model inherits. On fill I get a decent number of shots from a fairly small reservoir. The trigger OK, once again, if you have experience with the 362's trigger, this trigger will be old hat. I've filled from hand pump as well as cheap a compressor. I prefer the compressor b/c of back issues. I have since added a steel breech and scope, and I'm very pleased with this rifle's accuracy. Stock, I like the hooded front sight, but have never been a fan of the Crosman rear sight. The stock sights will work OK, but to really see what this rifle can do, a scope takes it to the next level. This PCP has no fill gauge, which is a real bummer. Other rifles, such as the Beeman QB Chief among others, have this feature for not too much more in cost. I think of this rifle much like the Crosman 2240, many options are available to modify, etc., but you can a lot of fun leaving it stock.

Disclaimer: First rifle I received was a lemon, 6-to-7-inch groups at 25 yards with possible keyholing, returned for a replacement through Amazon and the new one is dead on accurate, consistently punching cans at 50 yards as I would expect from a Crosman. Now to be fair, when any company is mass producing air rifles at these numbers, lemons are going to happen from time to time, it's just in the nature of mass production. Now to the rifle itself, it's nearly everything I want in a multi pump air rifle, .22 caliber, proper bolt action, full size, non-fiber optic sight, excellent trigger, easy to pump and a plethora of possible mods as it is built off of the tried-and-true 1300 series. Also, the use of a magnet to hold the pump arm in place instead of a plastic wear prone latch like on the 2100 is a massive improvement as it will naturally last far longer albeit at the expensive of louder noise when pumping. The BIG design flaw with this is the single screw that holds down the fixed buttstock, this can loosen and cause the action to rock when pumping, and it still slightly rocks when tightened while pumping. It REALLY needs a second hold down screw under the rear sight to keep the action firmly in place at all times. I would rate this rifle 4.5 out of 5 if I could due to this. Changes that would be nice: Beef up the rear stock, its rather thin, while this might be nice for kids and smaller hands, it feels lacking to someone who has larger hands. Another improvement since these are popular with modders, I think cutouts for the safety pin in the stock would be a thoughtful quality-of-life feature for people who want to mod their rifles since you would need to remove the safety pin to take the stock off as it is. Overall, it is a rifle with a LOT of potential.

the rifle was well built and surprisingly heavy (a good thing) length of pull was quite short , per younger smaller shooters. sights though basically functional, adjustable in elevation and windage, were inadiquate for the potential of this gun. the front sight on arival was scewed some 10-15% to the left )there was damage to the outer amazon box.) the rear peep/notch combination leaf was not useful as i can't do peep, and the notch was so wide that the front sight was floating with mucho space on each side. i made a new leaf out of plastic stock and cut a .02" notch with a fine saw which was a bit too small for short length of pull and old eyes. expanded the knotch to .03" with a fine hacksaw blade this will suffice until i can figger out how to mount a red dot which is a great solution aforesaid eyes. ( did mount one on a daisy pump ) i managed a 3 shot group @ 7 yd. of 5/8" with the contrived new sight using heavy (21 grain) copper pellets w/3 pumps. expect the rifle will produce tighter groups with a scope or red dot

Hard to pump up kind of and the rear peep sight is terrible almost impossible to see through.

Solid, well constructed. Powerful and very accurace right out of the box. Great value for the money. I own several PCP and have to say this one is the best. Nice entry level airgun, but it is my go to gun. Light weight and nice looking too. I am awaiting for a steel breech to install my bug buster scope on it.
