Strauss Prestige Aluminum Nonstick 11 Inch Crepe Pan - Induction Ready

This pan makes great Swedish pancakes. It is nice and thick, so it does now bow up in the center when heated, and is the perfect size for my stove. I can't think of how it could be improved.

This Large Crepe Pan works wonderful! We would encourage anyone to try it out. It cooks evenly, and the batter doesn't sick; plus it can be used on induction stove tops. At this point, there isn't a photo of the bottom of the Pan on Amazon.com, but it's very sturdy and impressive looking, and doesn't seem like it will ever warp over time - like some aluminum Pans do. We have made it our goal to make sure all of our nonstick cookware is made with the safer newer coatings, and this one says it's PFOA free; so that's a pleasant bonus. We want to add....that this larger style Crepe Pan works well for all sizes of Crepes. We have been able to make large size Crepes, as well as medium & smaller sizes - all with this one 11" Crepe Pan. There's really no need to buy several sizes of Crepe Pans in our opinion. The handle seems comfy. We only wish the designers of the Pan had put the handle on with more than just one screw. Designing it with, at least, a couple of good sized screws & washers would prove to be a positive enhancement for the end user; by assuring that the handle stays steady and free from wobbling - since the Pan weighs approx. 2 lbs.13 oz.

If I was using this on a "real" stove top I would most likely be home free, but I am using a Nu Wave standalone burner, and I guess it's unique surface isn't altogether compatible with this (otherwise awesome) pan. I only used this pan for about 10 minutes, but I think if I kept using it the surface of the Nu Wave would begin to suffer. A pity as this looks to be the Perfect Pan (I just need a "real" stove top).Size is absolutely perfect. Quality is excellent. It's also a "heavy" pan and yes it *IS* induction compatible. The heat seems to distribute evenly, but it takes a bit longer to heat up and takes a loooooong time to cool off. It takes forever to heat up. Not good if you're in a hurry. But quality seems good. Very heavy duty.

I have used it for a couple of years for making pancakes (crepes) and for frying eggs. Works great with an induction stove.

Satisfied, product meets the expectation.

Have used it to make French crêpes for a few weeks, on gas and electric ranges. Very good quality, non stick and sturdy. A little heavy but this is what makes it high quality too. Nice size for crepes.

It is very easy to use and cleans fast. Super cool Crepe Pan!
