The item itself seems fine, but the handle has some weird light black smudges that make it seem a bit dingy. The packaging on the other hand was awful. It comes in a clear bag with a cardboard bit attached with staples at the top. The cardboard was peeling and wrinkled like it sat in the rain for a while (actual Amazon box was completely dry). I was purchasing this to give as part of a gift basket for a housewarming. I had to take it out of the packaging in order for it to look presentable. The free cheese slicer that comes with it looks bad. The plastic is stained and it really does look like it was used. I chose not to include that as part of my gift but after washing it I think we'll keep it around just in case we ever need to use it. I knocked two stars off for the appearance and quality of this grater. I wouldn't purchase this strange brand again.

the nylon protector is a little difficult to get off the scraper. the handle is not at all ergonomic. However the scraper does a great job, which is all I am really asking of it.

Grater is fantastic! I highly recommend. Handle is comfortable. Grater is incredibly sharp. I don't have any info on the durability. (The slicer broke the first time in pepper jack, so more of a hassle than anything else. )

Zester works great, don't get your finger too close or it will zest it.Cheese slicer, poor, wire is not tight, too much slack.

Does the job! I have already used the grater on fresh ginger and parmesan. It is very easy to use, and cleaning the grater is simple. I have only hash washed this item. Great price for a functional piece for the kitchen.
