Changing dead gopro batteries was constantly a reoccurring issue when doing outdoor activities. So I decided to get a rechargeable battery pack. It was big and bulky and I had to put it in my pocket which really weighed me down. I saw this new YOLOtek rechargeable battery pack for my GoPro and decided to give it a try. Actually surprised a product showed up with clear and explicit instructions for once, and it took seconds to attach it to my GoPro chestie mount. Also included is a 4 in 1 power cord (works for GoPro, iPhone, android, and most universal USB ports). On top of that it comes with a rainproof putty so I don’t have to worry about water getting inside either ports! So far I’ve used it on bike rides and recording some memories with my new puppy. Next up is my salmon fishing trip and I can’t wait to see how it does. The juicebox also came in handy when the electricity in our neighborhood unexpectedly went out for a whole night. My wife asked me how we’re going to charge our phones. I initially said we’ll have to sit in the car to charge them before realizing the juicebox will work perfectly. Went to bed with my phone battery at 7% and woke the next morning fully charged and it didn’t seem to drain the juicebox’s power at all. After a year of struggling with a giant battery pack in my side pocket and a long cord dangling between my pocket and GoPro, I can finally enjoy what I went to do outside with so much more accessibility. 10/10 would recommend the YOLOtek juicebox

This is my 5th JUICEBANK.. got the first one 5 years ago. Super easy to use and works like a champ. I use the Silicone Rainproof Putty all the time, so it will last and last. Will be ordering another soon for a gift.

I have been a fan of the YOLOtek Powerstick for the last 3 years and have been looking for a way to power my GoPro using the Powerstick on my Kayak. I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars to get a LiPo battery to power the camera because that would be all it was powering. I don't run a graph/depth finder on my Kayak as I just use it for a pond fishing rig. I had recently purchased a cell phone battery backup that I was awkwardly strapping to my Powerstick using rubber bands and whatever else I could find. The battery backup that I purchased wasn't water resistant and I had to stop recording if it rained. I was greatly surprised that YOLOtek had a solution already to remedy this, so it was only fitting that I buy it and test it out. Upon unboxing the Juicebox, I was blown away at how this thing was packaged. It is packaged in one of the nicest boxes/packages that I've seen from a tech company. Well, aside from Apple, and I'll put this up close to the way Apple packages their products...it's that good! The kit includes the Juicebox, a quick release connector, the standard 1/4-20 adapter to connect to the Powerstick or any other tripod/base that uses the 1/4-20 thread pattern, a multi-connection cable, a pack of silicone waterproofing putty, and a cable for charging the pack. One thing you will need is your own power block to charge the pack before use. Everything else is included and they have thought of EVERYTHING that you could need for your adventures on the water. The waterpoofing putty is used to seal the connection from the multi-connection USB cable to the juicebox. The box itself is water resistant natively and is safe for rain if you have the waterproofing putty making a proper seal around the USB cable. I charged the Juicebox using an Ipad power block that I had and it took approximately 2 hours to fully charge. However, this was from 50% charge, so you can count on 3-4 hour full charge times from totally dead. That also depends on the amperage of the block that you are using to charge it. I ran a GoPro Hero 8 black running in the looping feature for 7 hours on the water without fail. The battery still had 25% battery left as denoted by the one blue light that was lit when I finally turned the GoPro off. The blue lights on the front of the Juicebox shows the approximate charge that is remining in the battery pack. If you don't have anything plugged in, you can press the silver button on the front once to see how much battery is remaining. Adding this to my videography arsenal is yet another game changer from YOLOtek. I run a YouTube based fishing show called "On Another Line" and I am always looking for accessories that make recording my adventures easier. So far, the Powerstick 53" and the Juicebox have allowed me to capture MANY great moments on the water. The ease of use of the Juicebox was what sold it for me. Simply plug in your camera and it powers your action camera for most of the day without fail. Pair that with the looping feature of a GoPro and voice commands and you have a great day on the water! I'm using this with a GoPro 10 to video volleyball tournaments for my daughter and needed something that could last through 4+ hours of game time, without having to replace the battery 5 times. I haven't put the battery to the test yet, with how long it will last. I will update this review once I have. The battery comes with all the accessories you would need. It was simple to set up with my GoPro, and would imagine it would be just as easy with any other type of device for that matter. The one thing I don't like is how the battery pack plugs into a GoPro 10. I'm not certain how other GoPros are but the USB-C port is in the battery compartment. This means I have to leave the GoPro's battery door open (not ajar, but wide open) in order to use this product. If I was using this in an outdoor setting where it might rain, or any potential of getting wet, this would not work. In fact, I imagine if my setup gets hit with a ball, the battery most likely will pop out or become dislodged which would end the recording. Even though you have the battery pack plugged in, it doesn't have enough power to power the GoPro without the GoPro's battery inserted, so you need your device's battery plugged in order to use the pack. Despite this, for what I need this pack to do, I believe the quality will outweigh these deficits.

What a great product! Works perfect with my Hero 13, 11 and 5.. sure it works with all others too. Best thing is if you have a question like I did, you can just call them… they actually answer the phone. Found out that the Hero 10, 11, 12 and 13 needs to use the USB-C to USB-C cable when removing the GoPro battery so I never get the Not Enough Power message. Also found out, that a manual firmware update to GoPro LABS (high end guys at GoPro) will STOP the not enough power message forever using any power brick. Thanks YOLOtek for the great information!

I have a GoPro hero black 8 and I record a lot of fishing videos for my YouTube channels Fishing on hope. I went thru various battery packs,GoPro batteries etc. I live in Illinois so we have cold temperatures here and batteries tend to run out quicker. I purchased the YOLOtek juicebank and let me tell you this is the BEST investment I have made. The juicebank lasted 6 1/2 hrs nonstop plus the original GoPro battery gave me 1hr more that’s 7 hrs total mind you i record using 4K/30fp. It eliminated all the hassle of having to switch out GoPro batteries constantly and worrying if GoPro is about to turn off due to battery running low. I have caught big fish just as the GoPro battery is running out only to record half of the fish capture. I don’t have to worry about that anymore. Thanks to the juicebank,super lightweight,small and compact/fits anywhere, even the box it comes in can be reused to store it in. I give the juice juicebank 5 stars. I don’t know that you have to have a certain specification to use with the GoPro. I tried to use a battery that I already had and it did not work, so my friend recommended this and it’s been working great without any problems. I would recommend
