KEEN Utility Men's Atlanta Cool-M Industrial Shoe

My husband works in a warehouse on concrete with harsh materials. None of his shoes ever last past 6 months. I mean they looked horrible, coming apart, dirty looking just horrible! He isn’t hard on shoes it’s just his work conditions. We have even tried both work shoes and work boots.So I went online and started looking up shoes good for concrete floors. Honestly, this was my second choice. The first choice was another brand name didn’t last which cost about the same price. Even with our other buys we were spending $50.00 plus on his shoes. So we were buying cheap shoes.I learned about the Keen brand on Amazon:) and no tears, easy to rinse off. They don’t look horrible and filthy. We are both overly pleased with this brand!Well little over a year his feet started hurting really bad everyday. He was ready to buy another pair. I’m looking at the shoes like but they still look so good! So we decided to try Keen insoles first since that option was a little bit cheaper and they received great reviews. We cut them to his size and put them right on top of the other ones. He had instant relief! (He had a little extra room in his shoes already). So they fit perfect with both insoles.This brand rocks!! We will continue buying Keen work shoes/boots and insoles. No more buying boots or shoes every 3-6 months!! Yes they are expensive (shoes) but they are worth it!!!It’s been about a year and a half with these same shoes. We bought the insoles about 6 months ago!! He could probably use a new pair but they aren’t tearing apart at the soles which is a super plus! His feet are aren’t hurting with the new Keen insoles, that’s a BIG PLUS!!!

Let me preface this by saying that I work in a warehouse for 10-12 hours a day, 5 days a week, and probably walk about 10 miles per day on concrete. Overall, this is a fantastic shoe. I have flat feet and these really help to lessen the pain in my arches. It's a very hard shoe, with a very sturdy back of heel support, as well as covering a big area with the steel toe. I've already had a pallet jack run into the back of my foot, and the shoe was strong enough that I didn't even feel it.The biggest issue with these was the laces that they come with. They come loose very easily and I found myself having to retighten them at least once per hour. I don't know who tested these, but they clearly didn't walk in them for more than an hour. I cut those laces off and put some normal laces on from my running shoe and problem solved. Besides the functionality issue with the laces, they look pretty stupid as well. The plastic bit on the end of the lace by the toe also bounces up and down while you walk and makes a slight clacking sound from hitting the shoe, which is kind of annoying.If you're buying these with the intent to be walking around in them all day, do yourself a favor and order some normal shoe laces with them.The only other issue was that sizing stops doing half sizes after 12. I initially got a size 12 EE, thinking they would size the same as my running shoe, but they were just a bit too tight. A half size up would have been perfect, but instead I had to go a full size up, which isn't terrible, but it is slightly looser than I wish it was.Again, these are fantastic work shoes, but whoever thought up this fancy lace design has probably never walked more than an hour with them.

I've had the issue of hot sweaty feet forever. Now I love my redwings, but that thick heavy leather is just too much. I was looking for something breathable to prevent some sweaty stinky feet. These with a pair of good socks (power so cool Mac) have been my savior.PROS:- I was a little hesitant of their pull string tie system. I trimmed a bit off the laces and put the plastic clasp back on, to prevent it from bouncing around, and they've really grown on me. Fast and easy to tie- Super comfortable. Probably the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. Like steel toed running sneakers. They feel like they practically propel you forward- definitely the coolest shoes I own. Not perfect, but I'm yet to fine anything better.- traction feels great for nowCONS:- God they're ugly. I'm a fan of the simple looking boot style, these look like they're styled for children- they're shockingly heavy. I'm not sure why they don't have a composite toe instead of steel, it seems like a much better fit for these.NOTES:Despite the weight, these are still very comfortable to wear all day. My feet feel brand new after taking them off. THEY MAY BE UNCOMFORTABLE FOR THOSE WITH VERY FLAT FEET, at first. But might make your feet feel better after the long run.The main reason I took off a star is because of how stupid they look. But I'll deal with that for the cool feet

I work as a truck driver and also work at the dock as a Forklift operator. I read some reviews from others and I just can’t believe how some would give less than 5 stars when you have to consider the fact of how you use it and for how long it’s been used. Right out the box, this is a very durable shoes, but if you’re using it to beat the heck out of it right off the bat, anything won’t last very long, but if you’re talking about just having a safe and comfortable working shoes, that you can use daily, this is definitely must have. I have had CAT shoes before and this is on another level. The Steel on the toe goes further back than what I’m use to having. It’s more expensive but the way I look at it, a couple more dollars will pay for the longevity. I hope I helped you make your decision.

Those are the worst shoes I ever had. The lace system is useless, it always loosen up and made my feet hurt from multiple place (I get it, you have the "break them" but those are not my 1st steel toe shoes and it is way worst than any other I had in the past). So I got ride of the plastic thing and it was already better. More support, feet hurting less. Then the lace broke after like a month. I replaced them and the other pair broke after an other 2 weeks, changed again then, one of the lace loop cut in half so I cannot lace them anymore.My worst shoes before that lasted me a year. Those a bit more than 2 months. I'm not hard on my shoes, those are just terrible quality.

The heel on this shoe is very hard and there is no arch support. I need to buy insoles for these, which is really disappointing.The build quality is excellent. The fit is a little large. The looks are... ugly. Good grip. Not too hot. Easy to put on. Just sad about the soles.

I've been buying this shoe again and again, I even go running and biking in them after work. Wear them summer and winter, very comfortable, I've tried other safety shoes (same brand and also Sketchers ugh) and they don't even come close in terms of comfort. Only negative is that they are not CSA approved - but I get the protection without the ugly logo. Steel toes not required at my work, just wear it for that extra safety.

My sketchers medium width fit perfect and these fit slightly tighter, the heel is built in too many overlapping layers so you can feel it, if your boss requires you to have CSA approved you might have to return them but maybe not because a lot of the rules changed I read that WorkSafeBC allows ASTM shoes which these are but could not find it in writing for my province and didn't bother calling my province worksafe and just returned them and got CSA Keen shoes
