This book is a timeless classic by the renowned author Charles Dickens. It gives a feel of a boy who faces many hardships to have a real family who loves and cares for him. It was Dickens' first novel. It is a novel which gives a feeling of the old times. It is a great novel for people who are above 7 years of age as this book has easy language and is very easy to understand. Even adults can read this.

A timeless classic ideal for an introduction to Dickens! Recommend it as a good teen read with the wonderful depictions of the characters; with Oliver. The Artful Dodger, Nancy, Fagin and not forgetting the evil Bill Sykes!

It’s not a great instructional on how to corrupt children into a thief and pickpocket den of criminal malcontents like you think it will be from what you hear about it…but I got some great ideas for how to make the food last longer at our house…thanks Mr Dickens!
