I keep these in my pantry at all times. Add some beef broth, beef gravy, some mushrooms and some noodles, you have four days of beef tips and gravy. The beef is fresh tasting and you get a lot in one can. Plus they last for a long time on the shelf. My power went out for four days, this saved me during that time as I still had something good to eat. The turkey is just as good.

Good meat, but could’ve been lower price

To be very honest I was expecting an unusual odor, flavor or texture to canned beef but was blown away by how good it truly is. The product is cooked in the can, so the shelf life is outstanding (5+ years) and contains only 2 simple ingredients, meat (beef) and sea salt. That's it. No bizarre long list of preservatives or chemical additives I can't pronounce. Incredible. Upon opening the can, there are three immediate visual things: the meat itself, the natural juices of the beef and the normal and natural fat content. It smells just like Sunday roast dinner. Done to medium rare. We heated it up in a saucepan (smelled amazing) and added some McCormick brown gravy mix from a foil pouch and it was honestly excellent. My wife and I enjoyed this with some jasmine rice and it is truly delicious. I will definitely purchase more of this product and wholeheartedly recommend it to others. I purchased some of the ground beef as well and am excited to try that tomorrow evening. The plan is to add it to homemade spaghetti sauce. Will post a review on that as well. As for us, we will certainly buy more of this to have on hand for quick meals, camping, cold nights and adding to our prepping necessities. I would leave 6 stars if I could.

Pure meat it is. More Shredded then crumbles Taste great smells great good product will buy again, good to have on hand cans were not dented, very little liquid. So can is all meat I can see Manny uses for this meat You Can eat it right out of the can Will buy again, some fat but not a lot. Good staple for emergency etc., no unpleasant smell. Ready to eat

I was excited about this product for my emergency kit and despite the cost, felt it was worthwhile. My three-can package arrived today and 2 of the cans are deeply dented on the sides and top rim of the can. The FDA's website states" If you can press your finger into the dent, it's considered deep and should be thrown away." Both of these cans meet that criteria. As this product is non-returnable, there is no remedy for the unsuspecting buyer. At a minimum, if you're selling a food product, you have an obligation to deliver safe, usable food. I am unable to recommend this product. Having to throw away 2/3rds of what you ordered and paid for it is not a reasonable outcome.

This beef, which I would describe as chipped, is too delicious to be considered emergency rations. After trying the first can I soon had justified eating them all. And no, there was no emergency except that I was hungry and wanted something tasty to eat NOW. I'm also embarrassed that my roasts never taste so exceptionally good. I was able to make one improvement however. Adding cheddar to it just makes this roast beef that much more savory. So buy it but hide it if you intend to save it for emergencies.

We didn’t realize that the cans of meat were the small ones. 14.5 ounces of meat. At 39.00 dollars for three little cans. I feel like we got ripped off.
