using since 2010
I've been using this since before they changed it from a sunny yellow to transparent. And since 2017 I've been going through a set of the 10lb tubs every 3-4 weeks. I do degas and it does remove almost all bubbles or at least the ones you can see with the naked eye. I use so much that I normally go through the Alumilite website but there are times I run very low and need it the next day or Alumilite has sold so much they're out of stock so I do get a couple from Amazon. But that is how much I love this stuff - I only use it for my molds that I sell on my tiny Etsy shop. Now being a "platinum" silicone, it does get a little "picky" about a couple things it doesn't like curing next to but it doesn't have a problem with most things and does make beautiful molds with the absolute best detailing - it can pick up the tiniest detailing to transfer to what is made in the mold. It's worth the little extra work to be able to make great molds and if you ever have any problems with it you can call/email/ask on the forum on the Alumilite website and they'll get you fixed right up.

So far so good
Easy enough to mix and pour. It develops lots of little bubbles that never really disappear, but some do rise up and pop. They suggest to degas but I didnโt and the mold was fine. No bubbles are visible on the surface of the mold, just internally. I appreciate the transparency. Takes a long time to cure compared to some of their other products. I let it set 24 hours. Resist the urge to touch, move it. Just let it be. Iโm going to attempt a two part mold next. Follow the instructions and warnings. Take your time and your project should be successful.
