Van Gogh Watercolor Paint, 10ml Tube, Phthalo Blue 570

I ordered this palette because of the deep mixing wells only to find that it won't work with my half pans. They fit the recesses but are too tall for the lid to fully close and latch. I have two different brands of empty half pans and neither will fit.I contacted Royal Talens and their response was "Our Van Gogh empty pocketbox is designed to hold the Van Gogh watercolor half pans. We do know those will fit if you purchase our brand. I apologize that other brands do not fit into our pocketbox." The product description doesn't say that it will only work with their filled half pans.I really wanted to use this palette and I am very disappointed with my purchase and I will be returning it.

I loved it!! perfect to put my watercolors in a tube to take anywhere .. very practical. I just had to put some watercolor in the tube and let it dry for several days and that's it.Take into account that this is only the empty watercolors case ... and because of the shape it has, it only serves to place the watercolors that comes in a tube

As another reviewer said, these cases do not fit other brands of half-pan. Attached photo is of a Daniel Smith pan. They’re the same size as literally every other brand of half pan I have (Prima Marketing, Jackson’s, etc.)So unless you have a ton of Van Gogh brand half pans, this box is utterly useless. Since I’ve already opened this and stuck stickers on it (preemptive and stupid, I know) I’m going to file down the ridiculous extra plastic (second pic) to see if I can get my pans to fit.TLDR; DONT BUY THIS FOR OTHER BRANDS OF WATERCOLORS OTHER THAN VAN GOGH

I bought this to squeeze my gouache into it for easy portability. Works perfect and love the removable mixing tray and travel brush. Very lightweight too!!

First when I opened the package my thought was : it's so small I didn't expect, as there were no any size mentioned. But Indeed it's very cute and portable , has a folded brush number 6 and a removable palette. Recommend this product.

I just received two of these little paint pocket boxes and could not be more pleased. What I need are small palettes to group 4-6 color combinations. While I would prefer full pan slots (I use tubes), the halves are okay. In fact, the 6 recessed mixing areas are deep enough for 4 colors, leaving 2 for mixing. I will order more. Oh, and these arrived 7 days earlier than expected.

Great color you can only find in this brand. I’m a full time professional. This green is very intense. You don’t use it alone. You use in conjunction with other greens. Use with sap green or other such green to brighten the color. Never alone. I recommend

Great case, perfect for condensing two of my other van gogh palettes; but the plastic is way too slippery. It has fallen off my table twice at least. I have now put cork spots on the bottom which helps, but is still not wonderful. Wonder if the box has strange surfaces or is simply not flat enough, I don't know, but it's pretty annoying. Otherwise I love the box and the paints !

Considering this is supposed to be student grade watercolour paint it's actually really good. Only ordered as i'd run out of Daniel Smith yellow ochre and needed some ASAP so I wasn't expecting much but it's very pigmented and rewets easily when allowed to dry in a pan. Will definitely be trying some more colours from this brand.

I am more than impressed. I’ve ordered few different brands to try out the same colour and Van Gogh just beat them all. It’s making clean mixes and does not muddy the paint from fillers and many pigments mixed in one. I am blown away. Will buy it again!! Is the most beautiful Naples Yellow!!!

This is a beautiful colour, highly pigmented and of lovely texture. A little goes a long way, as with all van gogh paints I've used so far.

I am very happy with this paint, it is a lovely subtle blue and I have found it makes beautiful greens when mixed with yellows too - will buy again

Love these watercolours and this is a fantastic colour. Bargain as easily artist quality. Lovely clear bright colour
