Not at all happy with seller as they don’t reply to messages as I have a faulty keyboard now the charger/ac cord is not charging and I have to purchase a new power cordI am extremely frustrated with this lack of customer service

Read the descriptions carefully! Despite the description saying it was "HD video," the one I got had only 1366 x 768 video resolution instead of the much-preferable 1920 x1080. I'll be returning this and buying one with higher-resolution video instead.Other than the video issue, this is a pretty nice laptop, for an older unit. The case, keyboard, and display were in perfect condition, no scratches or abrasions, and all the display pixels were live. The battery holds a charge just fine. The memory and SSD are as advertised. The laptop came with Win10 installed, and was able to update itself (has been an issue for other buyers.) It reports that it is NOT able to upgrade to Win11. That was as I expected and since I don't plan to upgrade, I did not research it further. All in all, if you can live with the lower display resolution, this is a perfectly fine laptop and a good HP business laptop for a bargain price.

I like HP, this is a nice fast SSD M.2, looks in great condition. At 510 mb down and 36 mb up on wireless, it's fast even with several windows open. There is an Ethernet connector, a door just pulls down to plug in the wire. Newer self hiding style. It seems WiFi 6 / 6E and 7 are taking over as you see from the connection speeds above. If you have a router /wife that fast.Two problems, ONE: it's a number of years old and the battery in the package came dead, charged it and it runs a couple of hours. It's a built in battery, but I usually just have it by my TV for work and it's (supplied) power plug) is nearby (newer smaller power plug different from older standard HP laptops). So if you are looking for 6+ hours, you many need a replacement battery. I only see screws and $60+ replacement battery.TWO: the BlueTooth did not work. I wrote to them and they sent a YouTube link. I'm a former public school tech of 30 years and even with the new tricks for these BT (have BT two other laptops) it would just not work. So $8 at Amazon I got a USB BT 5, in 45 seconds it was installed and I connected to the BT headphones I have. This takes one of the two USB ports, there is the new USB C, video out and card readers. It also has the mouse button in the center of the keypad which can mess up your typing if not use to them. That use to be a IBM Thinkpad thing and a headphone jack ! ! Lighted keyboard !Fast boot. I believe this will do Win 11, but I have old software and hardware that can't be replaced so just getting another laptop to keep as a spare. HP nor Canon is making Win 11 drivers for equipment older then 10 years. I tried a new Canon scanner, the software is terrible, very unusable, unfriendly and their old software won't work on newer scanners.

Looks good, lightweight and has backlit keyboard. Not much to do upon arrival I charged the battery and all set. Downloading other browsers was easy too. I give it 5 stars and thumbs up. Good job with Amazon delivery intact. Seller packaged it well. too.

I took a chance and ordered this refurbished laptop and it has exceeded my expectations. Arrived in excellent condition. The noted physical blemishes were very minimal. The performance of the laptop has been on point! It even has features that weren't in the product description. Have loaded Microsoft Office Suite, Windows updates, and software onto it and have had no problems. No technical issues at all. Seller did a fabulous job refurbishing it. Will definitely purchase another from this company.

Initially, the laptop was great. It ran well, did everything I needed and then some, and I had no significant complaints. There was a vertical line of dead pixels on the left of the screen from roughly halfway up all the way to the top, but it was mostly ignorable. I would not have accepted this as a new machine, but as a refurb, it was fine.However, as of two weeks ago, it is an expensive boat anchor. It started out sometimes refusing to charge, and other times working normally. This got worse until it completely refused to charge. There is no damage to the charging port, and it sees that the charger is plugged in, so I looked for solutions online. In working through the possible fixes, I removed the battery and found it to be swollen. It was, and remains, blown up like a balloon. I replaced the battery, but it didn't matter. Having or not having a battery appears irrelevant to whatever the issue actually is. As it stands, the charging light will flash a few times when the charger is plugged in, but nothing else happens.This is the gamble of refurbs. Sometimes you get a good product at a great price. Sometimes you don't. This one happened to be of the second option.

I am used to the connectivity that my older hp EliteBook 8560w offered. This EliteBook 850 G3 is a lame little brother by comparison. For this reason I consider the docking station essential. As far as accuracy of description goes, my EliteBook 850 G3 came with an i7 6600U 2.6 GHz CPU, not the i5 6300U. I don't like the RJ45 jack on this laptop because it is difficult to disconnect the plug. The RJ45 jack on the docking station is much better. There is no eSATA jack on this laptop or its docking station. No HDMI jack on either. But for $341.10CAD on this refurb I can't really complain. When I ordered this EliteBook 850 G3 it came very quickly in a ridiculously oversized box with insufficient padding. This laptop has very minor blemishes but one screw is missing on the bottom. No documentation except for an inspection checksheet. I am still trying to figure out how to download the documentation from the hp website. This laptop appears much more difficult to open up compared to the EliteBook 8560w. I can't comment on battery life yet, except it will be more difficult to replace the battery compared with the EliteBook 8560w. The seller has been informed of the missing screw and I am hoping they will replace it.
