Disappointing
It leaves a white matte base color so it doesn’t match every nail polish like sheer polish. You can only use it with white, milky or dark color

Works great PLUS
After reading reviews on this, I was a bit skeptical, but went for it anyway. Gotta deal with aftermath of salon nails! As a ridge filler, this works better than most I’ve tried in the past. It is not clear, but opaque white in color and I see this as a major plus. A white base allows for the true color of the polish to show better. Some of the polish colors I wear are bright and I don’t need as many coats to attain that beautiful hue. This ridge filler is my new base coat going forward.

This actually works!
I don't know why I have such bad ridges in my fingernails, but the older I get, the worse they get. Instead of filing them off and making the already weak nails weaker, I put two coats of this Ridge Filler on and, bam! Ridges disappear. It dries fast, and provides a great base for polish. It also seems to make the polish last longer, so it's a win-win all the way around.
