Don’t let the shallow mount speakers make you think they’re are light on bass, they’re not!
Shallow mount in a narrow wedge shaped box that fits my Toyota Tundra, the 4’ long box had cutouts for the two Kenwood 12” subs that are powered by a 800 WATT RMS Kicker amp that’s under the rear seat and I think they sound great and the subwoofer box fits behind the rear seat with the seat still far enough back that my 6’-9” can still have 4”from my knee to the back of the seat in front oof me. I bought 4 more to use to replace the rotted rubber surround 12” woofers in all four of my ESS AMT 1b home speakers which had a price of Only $139 per woofer but went out of stock. They remained unavailable until about a month ago and now the price is $189 each, both woofers are 4ohms so I will be using the Kenwoods after a small modification on the four speakers and I think they will sound great. I’m very happy with these Kenwood drivers.

AMAZING!!! Totally worth every single penny!!
Wow! What an awesome sub! I have it hooked up to a Planet Audio 1500.1 Anarchy amp in a sealed QBomb bed liner truck box setup in a ZX-3 focus and it sounds phenomenal!! I really don't know why you would want 2 of these when 1 does the trick. I have an extensive playlist so no matter what you play, you won't be let down! I PROMISE! It is totally worth the $$. P.S. I don't use voice coils so I don't know how they hold up but it slams!!

Won't fit 11" box hole.
I haven't tested them yet so I will update this when I do but it will not fit in a standard 11" hole. I'm going to try to router it and see if it will fit. My other 12" subs fit fine so not sure what the issue is.

This is a shallow speaker but it gets the job done. Incredible bass and very clean

Sounded great for a bit
They really were impressive. I replaced 1 10" Rockford Fosgate P1s punch with 2 of these Kenwood shallow mounts. I never touched the amp. I was impressed. After about a month 1 of them started making a cracking sound and the sound changed dramatically. I am not sure to see about a replacement or even to who.

Awesome sub
I paired this sub with a Kenwood excelon 300wrms amp in a 4th Gen ram truck. The sound quality is great, it hits hard for what it is and doesn't cut out or sound choppy/distorted. If your limited on room this is a really good sub to go with

Great sub. Trash seller
Bought sub from another seller. Tri state sent me a box with a 10lb plate in it. Seems like they need to check their employees for theft.
