Dirty Loyalty
Brought together in the most unconventional of ways, I loved that these two fell in love whilst dealing/healing through a common grief. I love that kismet played a hand in their relationship getting off the ground and gaining the traction that it did when it easily could have fallen flat right out of the gate. They proved that if you want something bad enough, neither time, space, nor location can dampen the visceral need to go after who you desire. They solidified that even in the darkest of times there is always someone out there who cares and quite possibly might be watching over you. My love for these two characters was instant and it didn't dampen one bit as more and more pages were turned.Freya was a new to us character, but Ridley was very prominent in his sister and Core's book, Bad Apple. Hopefully you are reading this series in order, but if not, I highly recommend in the least to go back and read that book first because it provides a lot of background info that is thoroughly mentioned in this story. You won't be lost if you don't, but I'm a stickler for that kind of stuff. Stuck in a demoralizing job, struggling and failing to deal with the loss of her best friend/brother, and dealing with the constant harassment of an ornery neighbor, Freya was emotionally at the end of her straw. Each time we ventured into her thoughts, my heart broke a little more. If ever someone needed a hug, it was her. But even throughout all of this, she showed such moral strength. And by the time the story came to a close, I was in awe of her character. in her ability to love with such conviction and to fight for those she cared for with all her might. She won me over and I won't soon forget her.I loved that Ridley was just alpha enough without being overbearing. There was never a time in this story that I got annoyed with him for being bossy, impatient, and hard headed. I fell in love with his loyalty and strength of conviction to his family, be it his sister or his club. Truly he could do no wrong in my book. What really pushed me over the edge though was how honest he was with Freya. Where in many other books I've read in the past the character would have lied or skated the truth in quite a few situations that arose here, he was always up front with her and I really appreciated the truthfulness. Not only that, but the fact that he had such faith in Freya that she would be able to handle anything he threw at her, no matter how dire the situation appeared to be. There was just an instant likability about these two that I couldn't get enough of.Up next is probably one of my most anticipated LLV books; Wolf! I've been dying to know his full story ever since he was introduced in a past series so many books ago. Come on December!

Freya was my absolute favorite part of this book!
I liked this newest addition to the Uncertain Saints series! It had action, suspense, teary-eyed moments, relationship drama & sexy times. The main characters, Ridley & Freya, had great chemistry together which made it very hard to put the book down!Ridley... I have a "I like him a lot but he annoys the s*** out of me at times" kind of relationship with him. Loved the way he was there for Kitt & Apple, loved his dedication in trying to take down the people who killed his deceased wife & loved when he pulled his head out of his a** & went full-on need-to-claim-my-Freya-forever-and-always mode. Of course, I adored him & Freya together but those mixed signals he sent her gutted me. And how could he have had such limited/practically no contact with her for two weeks & not think it was a bad thing? Aargh!! (Yes, I went all pirate but c'mon, Ridley! You should learn from past Heroes' mistakes!!)Freya... She's definitely on my "chicks I'd like to grab a drink with" list & my most favorite part of this book! She was such a strong woman! The way she handles a gun, the body jewelry, the tattoo she designed for Ridley & the way she took the initiative to train her a**... Damn, she rocks. I REALLY hope that she pursues a part-time job with Peek at his tattoo shop in the future because it'd add such a cool element to the heroines of this series!Super excited to get my hands on Wolf & Raven's story, Rusty Nail. I'm a little concerned at what's gonna happen with Hannah (because aren't her & Wolf together right now or am I reading into things?) but I have faith that she'll get her happily ever after soon too! (And that she doesn't get hurt in the process!) :)

5 STARS! Funny, hopeful and emotional!
This is the fifth book in Lani Lynn Vale’s Uncertain Saints MC series. This series has been edgy and exciting, and Vale has given her readers something different and unexpected with each book. She’s tackled some difficult subjects and issues in the plots of these books, which has been a bit of a departure from her earlier works. For me, seeing an author stretch her wings and grow is exciting, and I think Lani has done a fantastic job with this series. I’ve come to love all of these somewhat broken, rough-around-their-edges bikers. They all may be a bit darker than Vale’s usual heroes, and they definitely skirt the line between right and wrong. But at their cores, these men are all still good guys and that’s what I expect from a Lani Lynn Vale hero. From the beginning of the series, though, one of the characters who has intrigued me the most was Ridley. I’ve been looking forward to getting his story for a while. Ridley and Freya were two wounded and lonely souls, both of them so deeply immersed in their own grief. Ridley was consumed by guilt where his deceased wife was concerned, making it impossible for him to move on. Until he met Freya. His draw to her was so strong and powerful. Freya felt that pull to him, too, but she also had a lot to reconcile where it came to a relationship with Ridley. The load each of them was carrying became a little lighter, a bit easier to bear when the other was there sharing it. Would they both be able to set aside the guilt, the questions, their grief and grasp onto this chance for happiness and love? This story was a pretty emotional one, but even still, Vale managed to weave her wonderfully unique sense of humor into this story. A bit heart-breaking at times yet still hopeful, this was a great story about moving forward after loss. Lani did a great job pulling emotion from her readers with this one. Sexy, funny, hopeful and emotional, Lani Lynn Vale’s Dirty Mother gets 5 smooches from me!~ Danielle for Red Cheeks Reads

INTENSE
Amazing story once again! Ridley and Freya meet when Ridley is being treated at the hospital by Freya but he doesn't know their connection yet. Freya's brother had died in a bad car crash as he was driving with Kitt, Ridley's pregnant sister. Ridley followed her home where he watched her cry; only then realizing who she was. Freya is in for a rocky ride with Ridley even as she visits him in jail where he is undercover.Loved this romance! I highly recommend this whole series!! In fact ALL of her books.

Another gripping read by Lani Lynn Vale
OMG. I loved this book by Lani Lynn Vale. Once again she hasn't disappointed. The story of Ridley and Freya was gripping all the way through. So many different twists that I didn't see some of it coming. I loved that Freya was a bad ass and how protective the men of Uncertain Saints are of their women. Can't wait for the next installment in the series.

Ridley & Freya - another winner from LLV
Bless her, the one thing I have to look forward to each month is a new LLV release. Then when the new book hits my Kindle I inhale every page so quickly I kick myself for the remaining 30 days until the next book comes out!!I never thought I'd feel as passionately about the men and women of an MC as I did the folk of the Freebirds series. Then came the Dixie Wardens and my faith was restored. And of course the SWAT guys were totally swoon worthy. And the firemen. But now the Uncertain Saints have me totally hooked...I just love escaping into Lani Lynn Vale's worlds and am in awe of her ability to consistently deliver characters and storylines that entertain and keep us hanging for more. Ridley and Freya certainly don't disappointed.
