Artist Oil Colors, Quinacridone Magenta, 37 ml Tube

The media could not be loaded. Really nice and buildable. Included a video and some photos of it in the light. You can see in the circle it’s heavier on one end and more sheer on the other so it will work for either a light sheen of gold or a more solid gold leaf effect. It’s a little expensive for such a small tube but as I’m not seeing any similarly high quality gold oil paint alternatives, I’d say it’s worth it.

Love the high quality of this brand. No fillers, just pure pigment in oil. Great resources for artist on the companies website

It will need protection from drying out. It’s an earth color. Absolutely gorgeous color.

Quality product shipped expeditiously

Nice true gold color, but loses all its glimmer when you try to lighten or darken the color. Stand-alone color great

Great paint brand to use.

I used to paint halos. Better than cadmium yellow medium, which I use all the time. This paint really gave my painting the look I imagined wanting the halos to be. I think it’s a better alternative to gold foil that can tarnish per some brands or specific line items.

Thank you.

Absolutely love Williamsburg Oils, and this set is an asset. Just good ol’ fashioned quality.

Merci

One of the best oil paints made. Expensive but you truly get what you pay for

Great shade of orange! Makes a beautiful shadow color for oranges! It's a transparent paint when thinned with mediums but used right out of tube is a strongly pigmented paint.

Paint arrived early and well packaged. It’s not too bright but adds subtle gold hints to artwork
