I have owned several Odyssey cases before, and they have all held up well. I have a mixer case that is about 8-9 years old, and it is in great condition still. It has been used for hundreds of gigs. Same story for another controller case and two turntable cases.I want to caution though because I apparently missed it with the weight of this in the description. This combined with the Rane One controller weighs 59 lb. (I weighed it on a digital scale). That may deter some people. My old pioneer DDJ-SR controller with the Odyssey case is 27 lb, so this is significantly heavier (over double).I like the look of it. The shelf slides very smooth, much smoother than my mixer Odyssey case. It has a lot of room for a laptop, hard drive, microphone, etc. ***IMPORTANT: One thing to note because I did not see any instructions stating this, but there are tapered foam pieces that have to be attached under the shelf at the far outer edges. This is important as otherwise the controller will lift up and hit the shelf when it’s moved around.As a DJ of many years, I will warn that it is extremely important to take care of your equipment and get get quality cases. I know it’s tough to want to spend $300 on a case after $1,500-1,600 on a controller, but it is not worth the risk. Loading in and out will hit the controller, plus this looks very professional when doing weddings and corporate events.I highly recommend it, but just be aware of the weight. It does come with rollers, which should help. I also recommend investing in a cart, such as the Rock N Roller multi-cart. Save your back after a long night of DJing, and you’ll be able to DJ much later into your career.

This item is awesome even though it’s a bit heavy once you put your Rane One inside. But so far no complaints!

I hope for the money it will last. I’m gentle on equipment so fingers crossed
