Germ Fighter Essential Oil Blend Pure, Natural Aromatherapy

I've only owned this oil for 2 days, but I am already giving it a glowing review, because it deserves it. I got sick on September 4, 2015. I thought just a simple sinus infection. Oh no. it was a sinus infection, double ear infection with the most annoying, hacking cough thrown in. I was prescribed two rounds of Z-pack by my physician. It helped, but the sinus congestion and sinus headaches never totally went away. On Halloween, my 4 year old daughter woke up with a gross, wet cough and fever. After a visit to immediate care, we were back on the antibiotic bandwagon. Sure enough, about 4 days into her illness, I got sick all over again. The sinus congestion was the worst I have EVER HAD in my 30+ years. I was put on Keflex this time, and while it was helping, I could not rid myself of the sinus congestion. I could not smell or taste a thing for four days even as the cough was improving and I was feeling better. I ordered this out of pure desperation. I have believed in essential oils for a while, but was unwilling to buy those super expensive Young Living oils and hadn't had time to research others. I forget where I got the link to Plant Therapy, but after reading reviews on several oils, I decided on this one and I bought an InnoGear diffuser to use with it. As soon as I got it, I plugged it and let it run until it ran out of water. I woke up the next morning, the congestion was almost gone. Everyone at work noticed how much better I sounded after weeks of hearing me cough and blow my nose to no avail. I plugged it in again last night, same thing. Today? NO CONGESTION. It is gone. I'm still on Keflex (last day) but after several days of that, the congestion was still there. It did not clear up until I started using this. Coincidence? Possibly. But after suffering for over two months with The Sinus Infection That Would Not Die, I don't think it's mere coincidence. Now I will be an obsessive customer forever. I already have about ten oils in my cart and at least that many on my Amazon Wish List. Thank you, Plant Therapy, for allowing me to feel normal and healthy again. Thank you for giving me my senses of smell and taste back. I'm a believer in the healing powers of essential oils! Disclaimer-I WAS NOT paid for this. I just want everyone to know how awesome this blend was and am so happy to feel normal again. UPDATE-I am still using this DAILY in my diffuser at home! I also have gotten my mom, my sister and one of my coworkers hooked on Plant Therapy oils! I'm on my second bottle of Germ Fighter and am just going to go ahead and order the large bottle when my current one is gone. I LOVE PLANT THERAPY!

Nice natural smell.

I should start off by saying that I have never tried the YL Thieves Oil version of this blend, I just can't drop 40 dollars on a little bottle of EO, even if it IS the bees knees. I normally use Aura Cacia oils, but since joining Amazon prime, the convenience of ordering EO's offline and having them delivered to my door step has become quite appealing. So far, every oil I have tried from Plant Therapy has been of pure and excellent quality. The Germ Fighter Synergy Blend is by far my FAVORITE blend that I have ever tried. Not only for the obvious health benefits, but for the absolutely amazing SCENT! I do not know why I assumed that this blend wouldn't be pleasant, maybe because of its medicinal qualities, but man was I wrong... It is such a warm, comforting, spicy, even yummy scent. The price absolutely cannot be beat. I plan on buying the larger bottle soon considering how often I use this guy. We have made it through the entire season without getting ill even though we have been around extremely sick people and have had plenty of germs come in and out of our home. I use this in my multi purpose cleaning spray (made with vinegar and water), I also add this to the water chamber of my steam mop to disinfect our floors naturally, and I diffuse this on our night stand at bed time. The only negative I have to say about Plant Therapy is that I have a really hard time with the bottle. The oil pours out VERY fast so the first time I used their oils I used WAY too much. I go very very slow when pouring now. I really wish that it was the standard slow drop bottle. Other than that I can only sing praises!

I love all the scents which compose this blend, so I was disappointed when the oil arrived and I found the smell to be unpleasant. I bought it to scent the coconut oil I use as a moisturizer, and hoped it would smell better once diluted...it did not. I tried a couple different dilutions, and about 10 drops in 4 oz. of coconut oil was better, but still bad. I decided to moisturize with it anyway so as not to waste the money, and, once applied, the clove scent dominates. Since I love clove, I was ok with the scent, but hadn't planned on ever ordering this product again. Then I did a hand scan on a whim which said I needed more eucalyptus in my life, so I decided to buy some eucalyptus oil and add it to my coconut oil/Thieves concoction...it was amazing! 20 drops of eucalyptus oil with about 10 drops of this oil in 4 oz. of coconut oil, once applied, smells like Christmas to me! Spicy and sweet, kind of like cinnamon and honey - I love it! And the scent is diluted enough that you only smell it close up. As a bonus, I recently had a crazy outbreak of on my face with 2 massive pimples. Since undiluted eucalyptus is supposed to dry out your skin, I thought I might try applying that rather than the chemical acne stuff I would typically use. But, the eucalyptus oil was upstairs, while the thieves oil with eucalyptus it in, and supposed bacteria fighting properties, was close at hand, so I decided it would be neat to try the Thieves oil on the pimples. The Thieves oil was at least as effective on the acne as any commercial product I've used, and simply has a strong clove smell upon undiluted application. Learning about the scent with the eucalyptus oil combo, and the acne minimizing properties, has made me go from disliking this product, to thinking it's pretty great; hopefully this might help some others who were disappointed in the product's scent upon receipt.

Smells very pleasant. Soothing with mild aroma.

It being summertime I can never tell what if any spider or bug could be lurking in the bedroom so when I wake in the morning with little bites I get busy doing a cleaning job. Today I decided to use the Shark steamer on the pillows and mattress while the sheets were being washed. I had purchased this oil at the end of May and only used a dab or two in a diffuser roughly three times. I feel it contributed to keeping allergies at bay. But today I added five drops into the steamer and what a wonderful idea that turned out to be! Not only did it feel much more cleaner, I realized the rosemary and clove will kill bed bugs "if" there so happen to be any. I also felt that dust mites wouldn't have a chance to survive as well. The best thing was the smell that lingered for a few hours in the room and hall, it was very nice. I do believe I'll be using the steamer much more often now and I'll be adding this germ fighter oil for equal measure. No more harmful sprays for killing no see-ums that's for sure.

This essential oil is amazing!! First off I ordered this one based on all the wonderful reviews and bc I have a low immune system and everyone in my house is sick!! I can’t afford to get sick again due to health issues I’ve been dealing with.... I diffused this every single day until the bottle was gone... the smell is very pleasant and only needed about 3 drops in my diffuser.... so I figured being a germ freak washing my hands constantly along with this oil did the trick to prevent from getting bronchitis, sinus infection, and fever that my family had.... as soon as a ran out a couple days later I’m now starting to feel a little run down and sickish.... i swear this oil really does work... I just bought the respiratory one and clary sage but will be purchasing this one again.... I LOVE plant therapy

This is exactly like YL well known brand and at half the cost. It mixed well with 91% alcohol and stayed mixed when I added the water. It’s made an excellent cleaner. My solution only has a total of 45% alcohol, yet my at home petri test showed it disinfects as well as a 70% alcohol disinfectant. Possible better. It also smells good mixed with the alcohol (not all scents do). I’m not a huge fan of cinnamon and clove scents in general, but since I’ve been using the homemade cleaner it’s growing on me. May even try to diffuse today, since I now know how well it works. Also note, this works well to repel ants. So I know I’ll find many uses for Germ Fighter, and will purchase again in the future. The purity is in the fragrance. Original name of product was Synergy so that has been dropped. The blend is wonderful.

I use this product if someone around me gets ill. It seems to prevent me from getting sick as I have in the past. At the first sign of a sore throat, I use it in diffusor and I rarely get sick any longer. A very reputable company and a very pure oil. Lasts for a very long time, even if used daily.

Absolutely love this essiental oil. Way more affordable then Thieves but smells so good, if not better! I will be buying a bigger bottle next time! Get compliments every time someone comes into my house when its in the diffueser

Amazing product .. Great for diffusing before guests come over and when kids are sick .. As well as using as a spray diluted for a "Lysol" spray to clean toys etc

Product seems good, however I got dinged with extra charges of $17.81 when I went to pick up package from the post office. Just be aware you may be charged duty for these products.
