Just like the one that were sent home with me from the hospital.

I had outpatient surgery. I am instructed to change as needed and/or daily. It turned out I changed quite often in the beginning. Getting 36 pads has helped with cost and definitely with absorbency. Its going on two weeks now and dont use the pads as much. Still, when medical issues come up, looking at costs gets serious all around. I searched around and this is the BEST VALUE. These pads dont have any self adhesive nor tape. I am fine with that, I used paper or surgical tape which worked just fine. You can fold the 8 x 10 pads for more absorbency, or just lay over the area for light drainage. Either way, it works!

Had top surgery recently (double mastectomy) and was recommended these to pad my chest in the surgical binder, and they work well! I didn't bleed much at all so while I can't say much for their absorbency I think they definitely would work for that. Was asked by amazon to rate for adhesion, there isn't any-- its just a big pad, you have to hold them to yourself while someone wraps you up. I'm ordering my second pack now, you will probably need 2 sets of these ordered if you had top surgery, but buy one first and see how fast you go through them. I've been using 4 at a time between showers (one for each breast, one under each armpit), so they will go faster than you think depending on the amount of showers / pad changes you do. (ALSO, if your surgical binder is kind of sharp and cutting into your armpits, flip the pad longways so some hangs off the top and fold it down and it'll put a barrier between the binder and your skin.)

I love this brand ABD pads they’re super observant for a little to moderate drainage. The quality is excellent and they are true to size. Yes it is definitely worth the money and I would buy I need to take a while. I told him the floor they did not come in here. I definitely recommend this product.
