4 Inch Inlet Diesel Muffler Exhaust with Clamp- 7" x 24" Body - 30" OAL - Straight Through - Stainless Steel - Welded On Resonator, Polished - TIG Welding

My 2024 Ram 6.7L HO Cummins needed to go on a diet, but I drive a lot of long distances and I hate vehicles that are obnoxiously loud or have a resonant drone, so I was concerned that the lighter exhaust system would be an issue. Bought this muffler because it’s stainless, 4” to match the exhaust I have, and because it came with clamps and saved that little extra expense. Plus it had reviews that seemed to indicate it was quiet. Muffler arrived well packaged, no scratches or dents or missing parts. I measured repeatedly to make sure I wasn’t going to regret anything and then trimmed off a length of straight pipe from the exhaust to allow putting this in. The muffler ends both fit OVER a 4” exhaust pipe so be sure you’re selecting a location to cut out that will allow it. The muffler fit beautifully, the clamps are very nice quality and fit snugly with no leaks that I can hear or find, and the shiny finish is pretty nice. Not that anyone can see it. Most importantly, the muffler works! My Ram is as quiet as it was stock, maaaaaybe even quieter. Now, I do love the sound of a turbo spooling up and that sound used to be quiet but discernible if you listened for it. Now I can’t hear it at all. However, there is zero drone or resonance inside the cab, the truck sounds factory from inside and outside, and that’s precisely why I bought it. To be transparent, I never ran the truck after dieting without that muffler, so I can’t say how loud it would have been with a straight pipe alone.

Its a beauty! install went well and I'm happy with the quality of the clamps. They sealed up well. The finish of the muffler itself is impressive. Highly polished stainless--not that it'll be seen unless you crawl up under there. Yea, the body seemed a bit thin, but that's to be expected at the price point. I don't think it'll be too thin. Welds looked ok, but we'll see how long they last. Those welds on the thin body shell will likely be the weak link, but we'll see. It made a HUGE difference in eliminating the harsh sounds coming out of my stock 2004 Dodge 5.9L, all-open 4" exhaust. Calmed down the overall decibels and I can better hear my turbo whine now.

When my '21 3500 was going through the weight loss program, I knew a straight 5" pipe would be too loud for my tastes. I was considering the Aero 5050xl, but stumbled on this muffler. I read the reviews and figured I'd give it a try. For the price, if it worked, it would be amazing. It came packaged very well, super clean, excellent quality build, and installed very easily. I put it mid pipe. There were no indications on direction of installation as the interior seemed very uniform. There is absolutely no drone, no screeching turbo, and no crazy exhaust brake sound. Just a deep, throaty rumble. You can hear the exhaust nicely in the cab, but it is definitely not overpowering or intrusive. Absolutely 100% pleased with this purchase and I would recommend to any diesel weight loss program!

fit and finish is good, sounds good. I have it on a 1995 f350 7.3L power stoke. sounds and feels well built. ran it for about 1500 miles now and the stainless used is holding up well. only grip I have is brand new out of the box, seemed like there was a small bead rolling around in there didnt bother me considering the truck makes so much noise as it is and it could have just been mine.

2022 6.7 powerstroke 5in straight piped droned really bad when towing. Haven’t towed with this yet but as far as just driving it noticed a big difference. Defiantly quieter just sitting there idling. Drone gone. Super functional shinny stainless steel like the rest of the exhaust. And so far value for the money is very good. I spent hours and hours looking up stuff to get rid of the drone and I was looking anywhere from $120-350 glad I gave this a try. We will see the longevity of it. I was okay with how loud it was outside the truck but the drone is what drove me off the wall. After just one tow with the straight pipe.

I never left a review on anything but this blew my mind. I put this on my 07 Ram that has a second gen swap so it makes it extremely loud. I love it loud but during hunting season it is not pleasant to have. I installed the 5” muffler expecting it to not make a difference. It is crazy how much quieter my truck is now. I haven’t noticed a big difference in EGT’s. I’ve tried a MBRP and was not pleased but this muffler that is a 1/3 of the price is so much better. I have no more cab drone but it still has a deep sounds. I’d say it cut the noise down 50-60% of what it was. Very pleased. If you’re on the fence about trying it, buy it. So far it was a great purchase and have no complaints.

Bought this to help lessen the overall noise and drone from my straight pipe duramax. Definitely brought the sound down to a tolerable level. Still lets the turbo whistle thru. Overall i am happy with it. Cheaper than buying a name brand and seems to be of good quality.

Really well built, I'm impressed good stuff. It actually really took a lot of sound out of the exhaust, yet still staright through.

If you're sick and tired of your Straight Piped Turbo Jet Whistling 6.7 Cummins, GET THIS MUFFLER! I wake up early for work and letting my whole neighborhood listen to the exhaust brake kick on before takeoff was the final straw so I got this thinking it would mainly help the highway drone but it did more than that and I'm happy to say it's made it much more enjoyable when you don't want to wake the street up and let the truck warm up lol
