We had to remove our Govee lights for a renovation, so I purchased these to put them back up. They stick well, are thick enough, the size was perfect, and they were easy to install.

I use these for some of my numerous outdoor solar lights. Adhesion is strong even on metal, however due to outdoor elements, it'll eventually not adhere. Has worked for several years on lights I have them on vs using screws that come with solar lights. If batteries need recharged or changed, it'll take a little muscle to remove... just like with screws that don't appeal to me personally due to solar lights used on metal piping of fence and parts of deck housing.

I bought it so I can install my Viofo a129 camera in the rental car(s) while I'm vacation. It doesn't come with a suction cup and there are no suction cup adapters. So I use this VHB (Very High Bond) squares to temporarily install the dashcam in the rental cars. Just one square is enough even though it doesn't completely cover the base of the dashcam (well, the GPS unit of the dashcam). The 1"x1" is strong enough to hold the dashcam for as long as needed (done in Hawaii and Arizona so far), and it a bit difficult but impossible to remove at the end of the rental period It's thinner and smaller that the VHB tape that came with the dashcam from the factory, but it gets the job done. To a degree the fact that it's smaller is actually good - it's almost impossible to remove the factory-size tape from the dashcam. This smaller square is more manageable. Anyway, it works for my need. I'm planning to order some more, as obviously these are not re-usable.

I used this tape to mount track saw racks to my garage door. The mounts have been up for several months without any problems.

Not very sticky. Used it to stick light foil insulation on an internal wall and had to reinforce with a duct tape.

What I received had about the amount of adhesion as a post-it note. Maybe a bunch of them would hold up a small poster. Maybe. Somewhere between manufacture in China and my house, most of the sticky fell off. It is truly remarkable how wimpy these are. Perhaps those who had gotten some that had not lost all their purpose before arriving thought they were great, but I think it is a coin toss on whether you receive pads that actually stick, or some that have gone totally impotent on the journey. I swear, these were so egregiously inadequate for purpose that it was almost funny. Almost. Maybe a slight chuckle if they had been free.

Great holding power. I used them for outdoor lighting when I ran out of the squares that came with the lights. The only downside is that the red release backing is difficult to peel off because there’s no tab. You need to have dexterity or a knife handle to peel.
