Excellent product
Bought Life Line years ago when they came out with the easy no drip dispenser. For some reason I was buying local pump bottles. I got tired of the pumps splashing all over my counter and wall. Hard to clean off after it dries. Then I remembered Life Line. Excellent product and dispenser.

Cat loves it! And I am seeing results. (Updated review)
Original review, Jan 2015:Too soon to see results (only used a few weeks) BUT MY CAT EATS IT. So that's instantly a five star review from me, haha. Love my cat but she's picky! I mix 1/4 tspn in with her food daily. The first few days she was hesitant and ate less than normal, but she still ate some, and now she's eating normally. While I'm not sure if she loves it or just tolerates it, she asks for food and eats like normal so I'm happy!Update: Cat still loves it! Asks for it! I think my dog is jealous, but my dog is allergic to salmon and can't have any haha. I do notice some dandruff on my cat, which I was hoping would improve over time, but it has only been a few months and occasionally I forget to give it to her (so, 5x weekly instead of 7x weekly). Also, I have not been brushing her fur very much... And I know that brushing can help keep a cat's coat and skin healthy. So I'm trying to brush her a few times per week at least. (Hey, I love my cat! Lots of pets and cuddles...just don't brush her much oops). I'm hopeful that with increased brushing and consistent dosing of salmon oil that her coat and skin will improve.I currently have my cat on a dry food diet, so I'm glad to have this supplement that she likes so much. I know that it is beneficial for her health overall, not just her skin.Update, Nov 30, 2016: Over the months of mostly-consistent use (still like 5x weekly, only because occasionally I'm in a rush and don't have time to mix the oil in her food), my cat's dandruff disappeared. I am very pleased! In JulyI was on vacation for a few weeks and my friend didn't add the oil to her food, and when I returned my cat's dandruff was coming back. When I added the oil again, after a few weeks, her dandruff was gone! Then in September I was sick a few weeks and didn't add the oil, and again---dandruff. I got back in the habit of adding oil, and dandruff gone. So I know it's helping her skin, and I can only assume it is of course benefiting her health overall too. I am very pleased!I will have to buy a new bottle in a few months because mine will be expiring soon, even though it's not empty yet (she only gets 1/4 tsp a day so this is no surprise). I do not mind purchasing a quality salmon oil that clearly works, I can see the benefits and she enjoys eating it. :)(Off the top of my head, I think my bottle was dated to last about 12-14 months in the fridge, but obviously check the expiration date on yours when you order it)

High quality salmon oil...I just wish it came with a pump dispenser
I began using salmon oil for my dogs' skin and coats several years ago; but since then, I've learned that it's also important for the longer term benefits to their heart, brain, and joints.Life Line wild salmon oil is 100% natural. According to their website, it is produced from freshly caught, sustainably harvested wild alaskan salmon. Rather than the rosemary extract used as a preservative by most salmon oil producers, natural mixed tocopherols (Vitamin E) are added to maintain freshness in the Life Line brand. This means that the product can also be used for cats (felines don't tolerate rosemary). Each teaspoon of oil provides approximately 1395 mg of total omega-3 fatty acids, including 558 mg of EPA and 651 mg of DHA.Generally, I've been satisfied with several different brands of salmon oil available from Amazon Prime, but usually prefer the products that are available in the larger-size bottles with a pump dispenser. The pump dispensers make feeding time a breeze...you simply pump the number of "squirts" that are recommended for the weight of your dog(s) directly onto their food.Unfortunately, that is the only downside to this salmon oil by Life Line. While it does come in a large-size bottle, there is no pump dispenser. Rather than having to use and wash measuring spoons twice a day, I've thoroughly cleaned one of the competitor's salmon oil dispensers and emptied the Life Line bottle contents into it. Since the Life Line bottle includes dosages based on tsp amounts per dog weight, I had to use measuring spoons the first time in order to see how much each squirt of the dispenser was equal to. Now it's easy. I just keep the bottle in the fridge to ensure lasting freshness; and then pump the newly-determined number of squirts on top of both of my dogs' dinners. The improvement in my dogs' skin and coats is very noticeable. They both have gorgeous, shiny coats and non-itchy skin. With the salmon oil added to their diets, it's important to brush your dog once or twice a week, particularly if they're a long-haired breed. Just a quick brush will help to distribute the extra oil throughout your dog's fur.

An important addition to your cat's diet.
My cat was a rescue from the local Humane Society, and has been an indoor cat her entire life. Being used to just eating dry food, I was concerned that she was not getting her proper diet. I was giving her a small portion of wet food daily, but she would often only eat a small amount of it and leave the rest. Since I began adding this salmon oil to her food and mixing it in, she now asks to be fed wet food two or three times per day, and eats almost all of it. She seems to really love it with the oil added in, plus it is good for her coat and to prevent dry skin. I have noticed a big difference in her coat and hear overall health since I began giving this to her.

Works for dandruff on cat
I have started using this for about a week have already noticed drastic results on my senior cat.He eats wellness canned cat food along with Orijen dry cat food, both high quality food, but he has so much dandruff. After using this for less than a week it's pretty much all gone. I could only see one or two here and there after thoroughly checking his fur.I bought this to see if it would help my cats itchy skin and to reduce shedding on my newly adopted rescue cat, but will need to wait and see as the other two haven't been taking it when mixed with their food. I tried to feed the oil in a teaspoon instead and they like this better instead of in their food, so now the other two cats are taking this oil consistently. Hopefully, it will help them with their skin and fur issues as well.I would definitely buy this again and would recommend it for all cat owners.

Good price for a good product
Good price for a good product. I don't know if it's a coincidence but when I started to put this salmon oil on my dogs food, his gnawing on his back end pretty much stopped. I've tried probably 5 different brands of salmon oil and this one seems to work well with my German Shepherd mix. There's nothing wrong with the product, so if a dog decides not to eat it then it's just simply because the dog doesn't like it. Like humans, not all dogs are fans of everything. If you have a dog that's obsessively gnawing on their skin, give this product a shot. I hope it works for you like it did for me!

Mon chat déteste
Trop tôt pour dénoter quelconque amélioration chez mon chat (aspect du poil, démangeaisons...) mais chose sûre, elle déteste le goût et je dois lui administrer avec une seringue... et ça tache le poil.

including the one recommended and sold to me by my Vet
Many products on the market, including the one recommended and sold to me by my Vet, can not confirm their fish source.I will no longer eat myself or feed my dogs fish from the Pacific...so I love that I know exactly where this fish oil originates. The doggies love it...and I buy it for their doggie cousins, too!
