Lavlish Oven Mitt & Pot Holder Set 100% Cotton, Red

After trying several silicone and cotton mitts and pot holders, I finally decided to give these a chance. I'm glad I did. They are thick enough that I can hold onto a hot pot or oven pan for well... as long as I want so far. I found other cotton ones were too thin for holding onto the hot item for more than about 5 seconds without my hands starting to get hot. I hate the silicone kind since they feel slippery and awkward, plus they also transfer heat if not "used properly" (upside down, right side up, funny bumps - no bumps and other dumb things). I just slip the glove on or grab the pot holder and then grab my hot item like I've done since I was a kid at my mom's house.I guess my only complaint would be none of the colors worked well for me, so I finally settled on the grey (kinda boring, but at least it doesn't clash with my kitchen). Also, the mitt is a little shorter than what I've used in the past, but it covers past my wrist, so it hasn't been an issue (I have exceptionally long fingers).

I bought these as decorations for my kitchen in my new house. I couldn't find any other purple or orange potholder. They r expensive!! The front is like a ridged terry cloth towel. But they have that silver foil metallic backing. That's probably the side that touches the hot surfaces. The potholder has it, too. I was impressed. But I wound up finding an orange set for like $3 at Rose's with the black silicone backing. Equally impressive, half as costly. But I needed purple, so I'm not mad. The glove fit my big size 11 ring finger hands. Not tight fitting. But we won't be using them. $7 to go on the wall. But I wanted what I wanted. I guess I didn't have 2 buy them, right?

Both items are excellent. Let's see how they hold up. Most of the time my potholders look terrible in no time; maybe that's because they get so dirty I have to put them in the washing machine. If they seem like they are going to hold up, I will order another set. I'd prefer to just be able to buy a potholder from this brand but that's not how they are sold on Amazon. These are replacing 2 potholders with pockets from WIlliams Sonoma that had a short life.I did order another set because I was so impressed with the first one. Only the thumb of the oven mitt showed any wear. Both items protect fingers very well from pans in the broiler to hot and steamy items from the microwave.

Quality is fine, but the green is more a dark forest green than the kelly green shown in the picture. Since I bought these to match St. Patrick's decorations, I'm really disappointed.

This mit and pad are only seven dollars . but Ive been using them and they work fine. definitly serviceable If you don't want to spend much this set is just fine. The quality is good enough for the products intended purpose. I give it five stars for serviceability and price. This is my second order of this item. I lost the first mit.

I’m using these for decorations. They fall into place with the rest of my decor. The potholder does have the silver backing. These are really nice and arrived on time.

These are quality potholders for the price. This is my second set (which I bought two sets of both times). My first set I had for years and wanted to refresh them. They fit better than most oven mitts and work great. Arrived promptly, I highly recommend.
