Good budget mechanical keyboard.
The media could not be loaded. Gaming Keyboard, Mechanical USB Wired Keyboard, RGB Rainbow LED Backlit, 87 KeysThis mechanical keyboard is quite surprising actually as I didn't expect it to be much good for £24.99, I passed it onto my son to test out on his gaming rig and he was very pleased with it, 'most suitable for gaming' he said! With blue key switches, RGB effects, multimedia keys and fast responsiveness, it passes with flying colours, can't argue at the price plus it comes very well presented making it ideal for gifting. My son is happy to recommend it, here's a few key features that he liked:✔ Compact size, not full sized thus more room on work area✔ Responsive keys✔ 'Clicky' noise from keys if you like that✔ Cool RGB effects with 8 modes, not too bright✔ Sturdy construction✔ Comes with 1.5m of cable✔ Very good value for money (he never mentioned this bit, that was me)✅Recommended - A very good budget mechanical keyboard👍So the packaging this comes in looks really good, would be very suitable for gifting. The keyboard comes with 1.5m of cable, this is PVC coated, the USB connection provided a firm connection, the PC immediately recognised the keyboard.A spare 'spacebar' and 'escape' key is included in the box along with some instructions. The keyboard looks and feels well made, in fact I'd say it probably is worth more than £24.99, maybe they've got the price wrong :) The keyboard measures 36.4 x 14 x 3.7cm, much shorter than a full sized keyboard, we obviously don't have the numerical keys on the right. The whole outer construction material is made from plastic, it isn't cheaply done, it has been finished to a very good standard. The layout is U.S. based, having to press 'Shift + 3' to get the £ sign, this is of course is of no interest to my son's gaming hobby :) The keys utilise blue switches, they have a loud clicking noise, the response is immediate and provides for good gaming. For typing it's noisy yet comfortable, the keyboard can be raised using the rear risers if need be.The RGB effects can be altered, along with the brightness, or just switched off. The following is the list of RGB effects:Always onBreathingStacking squaresSpread outRunning horsesRun down the ladderCompletely offIn the video the RGB was switched to steady on.The multimedia keys worked effectively, I personally liked the manufacturers logo lit up, that's a cool touch. My son has used this keyboard on various PC games such as Minecraft, Roblox, NASCAR 5 and BeamNG, he said the keyboard performed superbly on all games. So there you have it, my sons happy with it for gaming, thus it gets 5 stars for the following:⭐Quality of construction⭐Price⭐Functionality⭐Design⭐CompatibilityHappy to recommend!Specifications:Model: K2Voltage: 5V/300mACable: USB 1.5mWeight: 660gKeys: 87, anti-ghosting

A decent enough gaming keyboard at a fair price.
The media could not be loaded. I''m sat typing this review on a Razer Blackwidow keyboard, which is my current go-to secondary keyboard that I have paired with my laptop currently. I also have a very cheap keyboard that I use with my PS5 which lives underneath my computer desk, so I can type brief comments and responses when I'm gaming. That keyboard though is painfully cheap and I've been looking for a replacement. This USB powered gaming keyboard by Z|iyou Lang has firmly replaced that cheap keyboard now as it's proved to be a pretty decent product. It has a reasonable weight to it so it's stable, the keys are all backlit so I can see what I'm doing when I'm gaming in the dark...which is more often than not. The keys are very clicky-clacky and really quite loud, which to me is a bit of a distraction. My office/gaming room is the box room upstairs in our house so when I'm gaming late at night and my wife is trying to sleep she can hear me tapping away. The USB cable is a little bit short for my liking. I generally prefer wireless products, and the shortness of the cable reminds me a little as to why.The RGB lighting is fairly rudimentary. The cursor keys, when combined with the function key, allow you to increase and decrease the brightness, and also to speed up or slow down the lighting effects that you can activate with a key on the top right corner. I'm not a fan of RGB lighting, but if you're a gamer it seems to be the default requirement of any product these days. I've no idea why, but if that's your thing it's present and correct. The keys, while noisy and a little wobbly, actually type quite well. I'm able to keep up a good word count with limited mistakes. I'm not a fan of the small Enter/Return key though. It's the small single row sized key that I think is common in the US, whereas the UK prefers a two-row key. Overall though, the typing experience is okay. I wouldn't want to use it as my daily keyboard as the noise would drive me up the wall, but as a gaming keyboard it's really good.Compared directly next to my Razor Blackwidow, you can see one is a budget product and one is a premium product. The Blackwidow is much more solid, the keys more positive and a lot quieter (ironic really as I always thought it was too loud!) and the RGB lighting effects much better with more control. However, that's a £150-200 keyboard through Amazon, and spending that money doesn't guarantee quality. While it works great when connected by USB, the 2.4ghz dongle for wireless use only works on my laptop and not my PS5, and the 3-device compatible bluetooth simply doesn't work at all.So, for £25 as tested, this budget keyboard is not a bad effort at all. It finds itself in a very crowded market, and I've tested several in the £15-£30 region over the last year, but it's the best one in that price range that I've used so far. If you're after a competent gaming keyboard, you could do much worse.

A cheap and cheerful keyboard, not without its issues.
As a cheap keyboard, this is actually a bit of a bargain. Blue clicky mechanical switches, RGB , 60% size. It’s nice. However you can tell it’s a cheaper keyboard. There is a LOT of deck flex in the board and it’s clearly made within a budget. They keys are actually nice but the caps feel a little flimsy. The RGB is able to be changed but only to the presets and none of them are a solid colour. For me the rainbow puke isn’t my kind of style and would prefer just a static colour, but it’s obvious that the RGB effect is created by different colour LEDs being stacked along the board. So different sections have different colours and they cannot be changed. Only the effect like breathing, stacking etc. The colours of the rows are fixed. Also the green logo on the right can’t be changed and is very bright and clashes with the rest of the board. I wish this could be turned off as it really stands out.Overall this is clearly a cheap keyboard but the switches are surprisingly nice and for the price I wasn’t expecting them to be this nice. However it’s absolutely not a high end board.
