I recently acquired the GALLAWAY LEATHER Padfolio Portfolio Folder, and it has proven to be an excellent addition to my professional gear. The first thing I noticed about this padfolio is the quality of the leather. It's soft to the touch, yet durable, giving off an immediate impression of high-end craftsmanship. I'm surprised, I was hoping for a proper leather portfolio, but so many of the ones on amazon in the $60 range were just not very good quality looking and made from bottom shelf leather. This one actually owned the PU and explained why they went with it. It comes in a very simple nice and sturdy box that prevents any creasing or damage to the folio, so it won't come damaged. the portfolio itself is clean, simple, and solid looking. Initial impressions on the quality are outstanding. The stitching is perfect, the inner liner is a nice carded felt that feels great. The PU is actually really, really good looking. I went with the standard leather look and honestly, it's really hard to tell by appearance that it's not genuine leather, and the texture feels really nice. The coloring on it is awesome, all the edges are coated so no rough spots, and it has no markings other than "gallaway leather" and their logo debossed on the back bottom. Very classy, There's slots for business cards, the pocket holds both wire and staple bound rhodia A4 (11x3/4 length, not the weird 12 1/2 that they also make) pads easily, as well as standard legal pads. There are two pockets, one behind the pad and one on the left, that are big enough for a few sheets of full size paper (where I'll be keeping copies of my resume and letter of recommendation) The only two complaints I have are minor - the pockets are a little stiff and hard to get paper into, but it will likely relax with time, but I would have liked maybe another pocket in the left edge for paperwork. I think the pen loop should have been elastic. The PU makes it quite firm, so a larger pen like many of my more middle-sized fountain pens don't fit all that well, and thinner pens like ballpoints just seem kind of comically small, though as long as they have a clip, they'll stay put just fine. Closure is a simple strap through a loop - plenty secure, but there's no latch. Shouldn't be a problem for anyone. Honestly, I wouldn't mind spending the $90 that gallaway estimates this folder would cost if made from proper leather, if they made it. But until then, I'm quite happy with this and will definitely recommend it to people. If I have any problems, I will update this. So unless there's an edit after this line, assume all is well.

Amazing. The shipping time was two days and it was on my doorstep. The quality of the portfolio is outstanding. I have spent countless hours in the store looking at $100 portfolios and they did not have the simplistic sophistication and professional look that I was going for. I will be the speaker at a funeral next week and this portfolio was very important to me. I would definitely buy it again. I will even gift these two anyone needing a polished professional look. Time to face it, I'm addicted to window shopping Leather Products on Amazon. That's the first step right? Admit you have a problem? Specifically Journals, Padfolios, Portfolios and the like. Through the years, I've bought some and I returned some. I've viewed so so many and touched a few too. This Padfolio is by far the best feeling in my; Craftsmanship is impeccable; Can be brought along on any occasion and fit right it. For me, one of the most important reason why I love this Padfolio and no it's not because I'm addicted to leather...be that as it may, I love it because you can fill it with a legal pad or a notebook or planner. You have both options! It's rare to come across one these specifically, that will accept both notebook or legal pad. I love that! Takeaways? Feels great in your hands, sturdy and durable yet elegant; suitable for any occasion, it's affordable, definitely worth the money and last but not least, engineered so I can choose a notebook or a legal pad. Very happy I bought. Hope this helps someone make their decision.

The portfolio is as described, but looks a little on the cheap side perfect for first time job seeker, but I wouldn’t use as a seasoned professional. Good for organization. Material a little on the cheap side.

This portfolio is very stylish, durable yet soft to the touch, professional looking and fits my needs perfectly! I love the tan colour and ease to open and areas inside for business cards, notes etc, it holds my A4 notepad neatly and securely. Very happy with my purchase.
