Excellent 4K TV.
Excellent 4K TV and at a great price. I took months of searching to decide which one to buy (worried I'd pick up a dud) and this product has ticked all the right boxes for me. Very easy to set up (5 mins - language, WIFI and tuning - no manual needed), great picture and sound (big step up from 1080p HD and excellent for next-gen gaming and 4K movies) and a very easy navigation. Comes with Freeview Play pre-installed (CBS catch-up etc.) and the generously large remote has button shortcuts to Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and the said FP. Sadly there is no Disney+ available, but I use a Firestick, which has that app, so it's not a problem for me. Also the whole thing is really fast and doesn't lag or freeze. Speaking of Firesticks, the other thing I like about the remote is that it acts as a remote for your Firestick device straight away. You can turn the feature off if you wish, but it's mighty convenient for those who don't want to keep changing remotes if you own a Firestick. Really a great TV and worth every penny. If you buy it, make sure you check out the various picture modes it has available though. ALWAYS check the picture modes as some TV's default displays aren't bright enough.

That's the value!
Sound good enough for movies but lacking a lot for music- sorted by plugging to my HiFi. Picture quality better than expected. Amazon, Youtube and Netflix working without any hiccups. No problems with WiFi connections after 2 weeks of using it. And remote is proper size, not flimsy. Best TV for the money spent.

Software not resilient
Firstly, the picture and sound quality are very good and the facilities offered are extensive and useful. However, the 'smart' software is definitely suspect and causes annoying glitches in using the TV, I have listed the ones I have experienced below. 1. The TV sometime locks up and will not respond to the remote, voice commands or Smartphone (via Toshiba Smart Center(sic)) even the switch on the back of the TV would not work. I have to unplug the TV in order to restore it to normal. 2. Voice operation by Google Assistant seems to work but will occasionally decline acceptable instructions for no reason, (It sometimes declines to increase the volume past level 10 even though the TV can do so using the remote control. 3. Toshiba Smart Center (sic) periodically loses contact with the TV even though the TV is still connected to my router and can stream programme material. Powering the TV off and on again restores normal connectivity. 4. Using the TV as a streaming recipient (from a smartphone or PC/Laptop is very hit and miss, It works sometimes but not every time. No reason is given just a message saying an error has occurred. 5. When using an external HDMI device (such as a DVD/Blueray player) normal connectivity is not resumed when the external device is turned off. This was a routine event on my previous (non-Toshiba) set. Overall the TV is good value for money but is let down by the suspect software and the lack of a comprehensive instruction manual (I have yet to find one on any Toshiba website even though the brief leaflet provided with the TV says there is one)

Tv
Great value TV. Do find on some of tv channels the picture isnโt very good. Freeview HD no issues. I mainly use my fire stick on it so not a big issue. After having a LG smart TV. My only issue is the sleep / off timer has to be set manually and only 2 hours

Good price TV
I am surprised that the TV has a really good quality with this amount of price. Although the TV is not top of the line, but for playing video games and watching football game is very good enough.

Good tv, no manual, mirroring glitches, wireless disconnecting!
Got this on black Friday offer, I had a Toshiba before so I thought it'll be great. Lovely picture quality and the sound volume goes very loud, no need for speakers for us anymore. I assumed this tv would allow me to watch freeview via the build in feature without the need for antenna cable, but it just groups all the online players together. Shame, but not a deal breaker. NO MANUAL which really annoys me as I like to read the manuals to know all the features and this tv its not that straightforward to use :/ We had this tv for a few days and it a few times it lost the Internet connection even though the router was working fine on other devices. I had to unplug the tv to fix it (wtf?). I tried to mirror my phone onto the tv. The command on my phone wasnt enough. Good luck figuring how to do that without the manual.. I finally found the info in settings, it instructed me to press the source button, shame there's no button named "source" and no manual with buttonbfunctiin description... anyway, I did find it in the end only to discover the picture was glitching so badly I couldn't watch it. To be honest I would have returnedvyhus tv if I haven't binned the box....
