Easy way to add 4 additional USB 3.0 ports
It took me all of about 10 - 15 minutes to install and have working. Now I no longer have to swap items in the only 2 USB 3.0 ports that came with the computer. Now the Bad - After about 6 months of usage it died and is no longer recognized or found by the drivers. I'm now looking for another brand to replace this one.

Inexpensive option to add new USB ports when your other USB Stop Working
I installed the VisionTek 4 port USB Express Expansion Card a couple days ago and it has been working fine so far. The part was relatively easy to install. A Molex to SATA Power Adapter Cable is included with the card and plugs into the computer's power supply. (Luckily my power supply had the needed plugins to hook up the cable). Not sure why, but all my original USB ports stopped working and this new card allowed me the ability to add 4 new USB ports. I am now able to plug devices into the USB ports such as my printer and web cam. I saved $150 or more by being able to install this expansion card myself. This was a great work-around option; otherwise, I would have needed to take my computer in for repairs to a costly GEEK Squad repair person or my other option would have been to buy a new computer.

Poor Quality
I've installed my fair share of components and rarely have I ran into any issues. I was looking forward to getting this card so I could upgrade to 4 ports compared to my previous 2 port card. Issues with this card started when I found the 4 pin power port on the card to be flimsy and misaligned. I got the card installed and once the drivers were installed I could only get two of the ports to recognize anything. I'm not impressed. It could be just a defective card but when things ship by mail it's more of a hassle to take a chance on a replacement. Went back to my previous 2 port card and things are running smoothly again.
