Perfect 1911 grip screws and look great

These screws work great and look nice. The Torx head allows tighter grip but do not use the included tool. It’s too soft and will destroy itself and take some of the screw head with it! Leaves a ragged edge that has to be ground smooth or it will cut you. EDIT. The screws are tiny so don’t over tighten. When it bottoms out, leave it. Otherwise the heads snap off and the screw is stuck in the bushing.

These fit perfectly in my RIA Pro Match Ultra. They appear to be good quality. They look great and the price was good.

I bought a pair of Guuun Grips for at 1911 variant with OEM ultra-thin grips (Para Ordnance 6.45 LDA). The new grips were thicker and I was concerned the OEM screws might be too short, so I bought these screws. Unfortunately for me, they didn't work. Pros: They are correctly threaded to match my pistol and most (possibly all) 1911 variants. Cons: a total of one star off for the following: 1. Instead of the standard 3/32 hex (Allen) socket, these used a Torx socket which was very shallow when compared to the provided wrench. The wrench kept slipping out and scraping the finish. It also began to strip the socket. 2. The screws were too long for my pistol. Although they also come with a washer, when properly tightened they extended through the frame and so far into the magazine well that I could no longer insert a magazine. Bottom Line, I had to go back to the short screws provided for the OEM ultra-thin grips. Although these screws are now deeply countersunk in the thicker grips, they do not block the magazine well. Final thought: Thicker grips may work perfectly with these screws, but be careful not to damage the finish or lose the tiny Torx wrench.
